View Full Version : Need to loose 15 lbs, check out my diet

So i have to loose 15-20 lbs in ten weeks, I weigh 200 lbs right now not sure BF% but guessing 15ish..heres my diet, any criticism welcome. Thanks guys.
meal 1:
500g egg whites
2 tsp fish oil
vit c
vit e
multi vit
meal 2:
3 cups spinach
1/2 cup mushrooms
150g chiken breast
1 tblsp flax oil
2 tblsp lemon juice
meal 3:
150g sirloin steak
1 cup steamed brussel sprouts
1 cup steamed brocolli
meal 4:
45g whey
3 omega 3 caps
1 serving veggie greens
meal 5:
200g wild salmon
2 cups steamed veggies
post w\o:
45g whey
40g waxy maize
10g bcaa
10g creatine
before bed:
40g casein protein
10g glutamine
vit c
vit e
multi

fish oils dont count? or i just need more fat.. i hate keeping PB around.. i love it too much..i could add some nuts..

Cut out veggies?? I know brussel sprouts are high, like 7 g carbs per 1/2 cup, maybe ill just stick with brocolli.

With breakfast add a few yolks in there, meal 4 add some flax 1tbs for some fats.

I say make the changes I suggested and take it from there. Your breakfast as is, is the equivalent of 16 eggwhites. That`s 48 grams of protein. As you seem to be doing a type of keto diet, you should know there is alsways fat included in the meal. And 50ish grams of protein I really don`t think is even necessary. 40 tops is good. Either way you still need some fats in there 4 yolks would give you 20 grams of fat. Go with that with less egg whites.
Add a few table spoons of peanut butterr with the whey shake at meal 4. The fats will make you feel fuller longer helping you stay on your diet.
15-20lbs is alot to lose in 10 weeks, is this for a weigh in for a fight? If so some kind of natural diuretic will assist you in the final days. If you find you`re behind schedule in the last week or 2, consume 3 meals a day and consume lare amounts of bcaa (20grams plus in between meals)

If you simply want to drop 15 lbs. just stop eating. Mind you alot of that weight loss will be muscle. However, if you want to maintain your muscle cut some carbs and add in protein. If you use AAS, a low dose of test will help you from going catabolic even if you go deficit in your calorie count.
If you are trying to make weight for a fight I have lost over 5lbs. of water in a night from running in a plastic suit. I made weight and started pounding back the water. This is really hard on the body so only do it as a last resort.

Thanks guys, it is for a fight and i know all about water loading/cutting.. i always have to sweat the last 5-6lbs..
