I was looking for something to figure out a faster repayment schedule for my car loan. It's a spreadsheet that loads in excel. The calculator is mainly designed for mortgages but it works for other loans also. I found it very helpful.

They always come in handy...

My finance professor actually found a mistake in his banks "calculator".. that ended up saving him some interest... crazy. lol.

i remember doing these manually in university.. i hated it

everyone should be looking carefully at these when doing their budget... for most the diff. between 15 year repayment versus 25 on a home is HUGE interest savings, and the payment difference is minimal...
