Yes, waited over a month for some protein. Never again.

I've ordered from them before. I try not to order protein cause the bigger the packaging the more expensive the shipping. I had better results than Tiamat, apparently. I waited 8 or 9 business days for my shipment. If you are worried that something will take too long, order in advance and you wont be let down.

wait till the dollar comes back close to 1... It will become cost efficient to buy at bb.com again.

Even if the dollar is at par, please show me what product makes sense to buy from bb once you factor in the cost of getting it up here... does it mean anything to you support your local economy?

I order from them all the time when I'm in the US.

Up here I either buy local or from one of the board sponsors.

"""Deleted the other stuff cause I forgot to change shipping""" So it came out wrong

Id love to order from a Canadian site but unfortunately its too expensive for me for what I want. But I do pick up a few things from time to time from a local nutrition shop.

As to the OP, I find it takes about 8 business days to get to my door from when I order, no customs charges and shipping is still fairly cheap. As well our dollar is gaining value

buying sups from the states is cheaper, period. Especially if you go with powders by the kilo, the $$$ difference if very substancial. There is just no way proving otherwise.

Champion Nutrition Pure Whey 48.92 shipped Canadian with taxes and shipping for 5lbs. Supplements Canada 73.44 with taxes and shipping.

Even if I double my order from Supp Canada for free shipping its still 125.98 for 10lbs shipped and from bb.com its 91.18 (Canadian) shipped.

Had to check this out...

BB.com Pure whey 37.95 each. 75.90 for 2 plus the cheapest shipping option to Canada was 32.99...total 108.89 x 1.113 (xe.com) is $121.19.

A competitor that carries Champion in Canada has it for 56.95 at a $100 plus order total and free shipping which totals $119.60 all in...and you would most likely receive it in 2-3 days vs the 4-9 with the other.

Buying from the states can save a few bucks depending on what you order but as Andre said, buying that tub of protein (or anything) locally has a ripple effect throughout your own community.

Whoops forgot to change the shipping :P but still cheaper and soon to be cheaper if the dollar continues to rise. But all in all I do try and order from Canadian suppliers but I go with BB.com cause I have had a bad experience shipping from a canadian supplier (supp canada). Hense why I only go pick it up but usually they dont have what I want, (ie a lot of primaforce stuff)

Yeah can't beat bb's selection that's for sure. With the dollar going up i'm sure you are going to see some price drops which Pumphouse Nutrition has already started, so hopefully that will still keep ppl buying from Canadian retailers.

Last time I bought supps from bb.com I went in with some buddies and got a massive order. They apparently thought I was trying to use a fraudulent VISA because I had to call and answer questions, and then fax a photocopy of picture ID to them. Then I waited for 6 weeks for it to arrive, and when it did the box had been opened and retaped shut, both a tub of creatine mono and glutamine had been opened somewhere along the way (border?). The safety seals were broken open, and there was white powder all over the inside of the box.

Good prices, not worth the hassle. And with specials from the board sponsors, probably not much if any cheaper anyways.

^^^^^Good call. The board sponsors are great. I have used them myself. I used bb.com before and it was a huge hassle. If I recall correctly I still paid Canadian taxes on the product. The same happened to me when I ordered my wife some stuff from Victoria's Secret. I am not sure why a US company is collecting Canadian taxes, but it happens. I too, had to fax my credit card and ID info to them. Never again.
