4 days ago I injected Prop-100mg, and Tren-A 50 mg into my right quad. I've never suffered from injection site pain like this before. I've injected quads countless times and the pain would subside within 3 or 4 days.
Today, I'm a cripple and can't bend my knee past 90 degrees. It is very painful to walk.
The pain doesn't seem to be getting better or worse. There is some swelling, but there is no redness. The pain seems to subside when I work the muscle, especially when doing cardio. It almost feel fine for while and then an hour later, it hurts like a bitch again.
Should I be concerned about an infection?

I suspect you have nothing to worry about as far as infection etc.
I am experiencing the exact same thing right now lol
Climbing up or down stairs is KILLER.
I think with myself,I had injected too close to a nerve ? Nothing to be too concerned with, but boy it sure sucks donkey doodles

I'm trying to figure out how to reduce the pain, so far the only thing that worked was herd and cardio...hot showers work a little too. I don't like the idea of taking Advils every few hours.
How long did the pain last for you guys? When should I start getting really concerned and see a doctor?
There is swelling, but there is no redness or heat. I don't have a pitting edema in the area and I don't have a fever. The area is very hard to the touch.

Personally I just tough it out, have never taken pain killers to help with the discomfort.
If you have a "magic bag" try heating that and applying to the area. It'll help a bit.
You may have another 2-3 days of this discomfort.
Next time you inject quads...or anywhere...try to take your time.I don't know the volume of your injection...but 3cc's in my quads takes a few mins.I pause every 3/4 cc's or so to give the oil a chance to disperse a bit. Then inject another 3/4 cc slowly and so on.Massage the area for 5 mins after, and if you wish, apply heat after the injection also

Thanks, Mister T 72. I have a heating pad and it is marginally helpful. Quads were my favorite spot. I've injected Prop in them before countless times with no issues. I don't know what happened this time, I must have hit a nerve as you've pointed out.
The prop was left over from a cycle 6 months ago, maybe it crashed? It is dosed at 200mg/ml, so I was only injecting 0.5ml ED of it at a time. I'm also running tren, so in tolal I was only injecting 1cc at a time. The other injection sites were all fine, including the left quad. I've never had to take pain killers before, but then again the pain was never this bad or debilitating. In addition, I have a photo shoot on saturday and I can't flex my right quad, which poses a big problem.
There is no improvement in the range of motion of my leg this morning, however, the pain seems to be a little less. I do have a noticeable bump on my right quad. It feels like a huge knot and is very painful to the touch. It is not accompanied by redness or heat and it seems to be a found lower than the actual injection point itself. I'll keep people posted.

No, it was definitely not virgin muscle. What is the longest the pain lasted for you?

The pain will likely migrate a bit into your knee....at least in my experience it has.
The injection resulting in the pain in my quad right now was Test cyp & Eq...2.5 cc's.
Always been virtually painless even in the delts,so I think I just got too close to a nerve with the injection.....everything you have described sounds exactly like what I am experiencing and have before
Seeing as you are using Prop,I'm assuming you have injected since elsewhere with no or little pain?

?
Do you have a lump on your quad as well? How many days of pain have you experienced?

Exactly, little to no pain what so ever.

I wouldn't say "lump",but def a very hard spot !! Quite sore to the touch but getting slightly better.Again, this isn't the first time I have experienced this, and it tends to last for me at least around 5-6 days. When it leaves it seems to leave quite quickly
If it was crashed gear, you would know lol First you would see the "flakes" in the solution and also the pain is even worse....had it happen once
I think you'll be fine in a couple days bud.

Id say your pain will last 6 or 7 days. T400 cripples me to death. if I do a glute shot,, I get unbearable lower back and intense glute pain.

Your doing Tren and Cardio? Hows that working fory ya?
You will probably have to get your leg amputated, but they will give you a mechanical replacement leg. So no biggie.

If i dont hit the sweet spot the pain will last 5 to 7 days. Makes it a huge hassle when your doing a prop/tren cycle because i only use 8 injection sites.

I just rub my leg and stretch it. It's gets rid of that "Charlie horse" in a day or so.
Other than that, i'd go with the guy that said nerves! Mark that spot and don't hit again haha.

X2 easy on the quads Did you aspirate the syringe ??
If i take anything with EO then i have pain for 5 days,Advil, and Ice,and then heat, with help a bit.Another thing is large Volume shots 3ml in the Quads will cause major pain for most.

Thanks guys for all your responses. I always heard about prop pain and how painful it could be, but I never experienced it first hand until now. Prop and quad shots were always painless or slightly discomforting for me before. Certainly, nothing that would prevent me from training, let alone walking like a cripple for more than a week.
I was able to stretch the right quad yesterday aftering taking a few advils. It is the 6th day now, pain is reduced, but only slightly. At least it is not getting worse so it is definitely not an infection.
This whole thing was just bad luck and timing, I still can't flex the right quad at all and I have a photo shoot this afternoon.
Here is a pic from this morning. Left quad is fine though.

Kinda short notice now with your photo shoot today but....if you can find one, maybe try a lengthy massage of the area with one of those small personal massage roller things lol no idea what they are actually called but saw one at the gym last night.
