Second the motion. True happiness is within each of us. With patience and work relationships can make life even better, but it has to be a two-way street. Each has to give 100%. I'm very happy with my relationship with my spouse but I never take it for granted and I work at it every day.

It is incredible how much power a person can have over another.

In my years in battle, I have encountered some good people. I believe that sometimes peoples reactions are a trigger-like or domino effect to an action.
There is always going to be two sides to a story---your way of loving may not be my way of loving.

Back two years ago, I was involved with a real nice Jewish chick (her age plays a roll in the equation--she was 48--I am 34)
It took me almost 1 year, out of the two years we were together, it took me drinking myself to death...and my very best friend --who is gay, we go back 10 years now---it took my friend to realize that I was dealing with a bi-polar individual, and the worst kind.
All those days, minutes, months...I would question myself, thinking that I had done something wrong. Thinking that it was always my fault...but it was not.--I was not wrong, it was not my fault...I was dealing with something very hidden within her..a condition I had no clue on how to diagnost whatsoever.

When we finally broke up early last year, I started to break down the relationship in pieces...then I placed all the parts back together...she had done tremendous damage to me. I slowly rebuild myself back up.
She and I have not spoken in any way shape or form since then...I am happy that way.
