Hi! im really new to this and have no idea where to go! lol I understand diffrent orgs. look for diffrent things whenit comes to fitness and bikini model divisions and so I was hoping someone might know the diffrent styles and requierments for the diffrent shows that come to montreal.

Im 6 feet 160lbs naturally lean and toned ( as you may be able to tell from my avatar) and have 34c 26 38 mesurements with narrow hips but a booty. Im naturally athletic and in shape but its not the healthy, maximzing my body's potential kind of shape...its just genetics, and Id like to change that! lol ( be able to do a chin up for example? that would be great! 2 push ups???even better! lol)

Im starting to hit the gym and plan to go about 3 or 4 times a week( right now Jiujitsu is all the activity i do and Im lucky if I go once a week...

I figure this can allow me to do either fitness model or bikini model If I know what Im trying to achive body wize...can anyone tell me what my mesurements should be for my hight???( im from the fashon world so the numbers are what I understand! lol

I find it hard to judge becouse im so much taller than most girls who seem to compeet but they seem to share the same mesurements???? does thhis make me to skinny?do I need more mass in certain areas???? or cut 5 to 10 lbs of fat for more deffinition?

If anyone could guide me on this or even just tell me where to start Id be greatful! I also have other pics that give an idea of where im at body wize ...

Im not an expert by any means, but it seems to me the look you have NOW would best be suited for WBFF. They tend to look for young beautiful women with lean bodies.

I'd steer clear of the FCPAQ events until you can maybe do at least 10 chinups ;) the women there have been training quite a bit longer and the muscle maturity will show against you very dramatically. On a National scale, Quebec athletes are very competitive and muscular.

Im not sure of all the different organizations in quebec... or when you are looking at starting... but making time to hit the gym is kinda important when it comes to doing fitness competitions... try to find more time to train.

I was looking at the wbff the fitnes star and the FAME comps...I dont want anyone to think I dont realize how hard people work to compeet in theies cometitions!!!! lol I CERTAINLY DO! But im convermend about trainning to the point whenre im too developed for the divisions Im interested in...At my hight doing body building or even fugure would make me a far bigger woman than Im prepared for lol

That having been said Im interested in the fitness model division becouse fitness is my goal!

Thanks for the insight! Iguess the next step is getting into a winning lifestyle that will take me there!

Thanks! I dont take for granted that I have a good place to start from! lol But being an active and competitive person- I cant help but want to develop it! Im going to make an album of where im at now...so I can see whereIt takes me!

Thats what Ive noticed! but what about the fame or fitness star shows to gain experiance? they are at the end of the summer but if there is no point ill wait until 2010 to spend the money!

I kept an album of my development... took pictures every 4 weeks and it's an AMAZING tool to see the development. Sometimes when you get frustrated, it's nice to look at progress pics to keep motivated.
(which reminds me, I should do another set of pics if I can squeeze my but into my bikini ;) )

For sure Fame could be a good place to start as well if you want to jump in right away.

This is great advice but would mean ne missin gout on the next comp! most are in oct or nov...Ive trued to find videos but as you may know its hard to tell!

What msde me waht to compeet? Ive always been involven insomething dance, cheerleading, gymnastics, rugb, soccer, BJJ, muai thai all competitve sports- I was a weeks worht aof training away from getting my blue belt in bjj but my shedule at work wouldnt allow it! now that ive changed jobs its worse...no time for bjj at all...i have to do SOMETHING and I find that going to t hy gym when you have a goal...and are no longer affraid of muscle) it can be alot of fun to push your body...I was a fashion model for a while but with a naturaly athletic buld i was constantly fighting too much deffinition or "mass" to maintan the requieres size...i finally chose health and fitness over being skinny and began to love my body as it was- no more starving or obsessing or hating myself ...my new goals were a stronger fitter healthyer me!

I figure I coan go to the gym when i want now... donthave to wait for a class and can mesure my progress through competiton as I would with any other sport!

Thats why...

My BF supports anything I want to do... but its obvious that he donsent want me to become a bb..wich is not my goa or personal pref. or to lose my "lady lumps" 9in the front or in the back) neither do I

I also notice that sice were the same hight and could submit him If I wanted to ( but I wouldnt to protect his ego...) not to mention when we go to the gym together he realizes how mich musche, deffinition and srength ( wich i conceal most of the time)that he thought...hel say things like ok just sop your already too cut or muscular or what ever...Bottom line is that i know hes intimidated and use to dating softer, lighter less competitive girls who stand 5'1 ...im 6' 160 and have compeeted in everything under the sun...not to mention dome well most of the time.

Either way Im gonig nuts with no activity for the last 4 weeks and Im sure in the end It will only serve as motivation to keep up ( he works up 5 days a week has goals but dosent really commit or goaobut them correctly all the time) so it will push him to shape up and inturn we can suport eachothere maybe through healthy competion?

If hes Ego is to big ill just arm barr him until he gets the message lol

What doy uo guys thing about girls who are in SICK hsape? does it scare you and why?

I love women that are athletic dated allot of models / actors in the past / nature of my career

as you grow your relationship will become challenged so i wish you luck You will meet train with some pretty unique men and women that stand out in a crowd

not to put your boy down in any way but he stays within the average norm

and it sounds like you want to go way past that point in your life ??
