Well going through the shelves in the kitchen just now I found two 1L containers of each so I was wondering what to do with it. I think I just used to mix this stuff into shakes but found it did not really do much. So I was wondering how you guys use these supplements. I think Glutamine is good PWO and I have no clue what Taurine does or even how I ended up having some of it around.

ive been told by a few people that gluatmine is only good when on a cutting diet if you on maintenance or bulk and getting enough calories then glutamine doesnt get absorbed and its just a waste... but thats just what some people have told me. taurine is an excellent supplement and its cheap. take 5 grams in the morning, preworkout and postworkout

Take a high dose of Glutamine (20g or more) pre-work out and that will help you with drive as it is a neurotransmitter.

taurine is a good supp when you are using clen, and other stimulants. It helps to keep your body sensitive to them. Dose varies by stimulant type and dosage.

Taurine is not a stimulant, not even close. Unless you`re taking glutamine intraveinously, it dosent`do shit.

My bad, no energy from taurine, just lots of taurine in energy drinks.
Glutamine is highly in demand throughout the body. It is used in the gut and immune system extensively to maintain optimal performance.* 60% of free-form amino acids floating in skeletal muscles is L-glutamine. L-glutamine plays a very important role in protein metabolism, and it appears to be a very important nutrient for body builders.* When supplemented, it may help body builders reduce the amount of muscle deterioration that occurs because other tissues that need glutamine will not rob the glutamine stored in the muscle cells.*
Research suggests that after intensely working out, glutamine levels in the body are reduced by as much as 50%.* Since the body relies on glutamine as cellular fuel for the immune system, scientific studies suggest that glutamine supplementation can minimize the breakdown of muscle tissue and improve protein metabolism.* Glutamine's cell-volumizing effects have also been supported by several studies.* No conclusive studies have been done to evaluate the effects of L-glutamine supplementation on weight-training adults; however, a recent study suggests a meaningful increase in growth-hormone levels when as little as 2 grams of free-form L-glutamine supplement was consumed!*
Taurine is an amino acid like glutamine that is earning more and more respect from bodybuilders and protein scientists.
While taurine generally is the second most abundant amino acid in muscle, in several metabolic conditions, some muscle biologists like Eric Serrano, M.D., have determined that it, not glutamine, is the most voluminous amino represented in striated type 2 muscle fiber! Taurine has several critical functions and can act similarly to creatine in that it expands your cells by helping the muscle cell itself hold more water, increasing cell volume. For a lifter or bodybuilder, this is significant because expanded muscle cells can boost hydration resulting in a higher rate of protein synthesis and bodybuilders will appreciate the increased appearance of muscle fullness
Additionally, another 'theory' is that taurine preferentially enhances interstitial contractile leverage and this may aid the lifter in handling heavier weights.

in studies glutamine actually isnt that effective. its just the supplement industry trying to sell more crap. beta- alanine actually gives better effects for added protein synthesis than glutamine and is better for recovery.

**** i had a really bad reaction to beta alanine my first time, i took the full dose and it felt like i was on fire haha its some wicked shit i'd definitly give it a try, pvl makes a really good and affordable beta alanine. also 1 tub should last like 3 months
i only use high doses of Glutamine when feeling a little sick and seems to work for me... then again can just be all in my head, but why take the chance and get sick specially since its cheap now.
