pin wheel curls
calf raises
leg curls

almost like a vacation....

squats...

oh shit.

I did my normal 5x5 rep weight (265) for 12 took a 5 minute break and then went after 225 for 20. I made it to 15 before I chickened out.

On workout 1 I didn't have DOMS for a good 30 hours. Today my quads feel like hamburger 2 hours pwo. It will be interesting to see if walking is an option tomorrow.

I'm doing 50 minutes of low intensity cardio on off days and 20 minutes on workout days.

My appetite is simply out of control. 4k calories on t his program will be easy.

Overall I'm pretty darn happy with Dante's basic template. It's doable but a big jump in intensity over the starting strength program that I'm most used to.

I'm pretty sure I will either grow on this or snap like a twig.

lower the reps for your squat set. should be 6-10 max then the widowmaker.....remember to breathe!!! I have given myself some pretty severe headaches holding my breath during the last few reps of a squat widowmaker.....for hams I like sldl, glute/ham raise!!! good luck!

How about if I just raise the weight :) The reps will take care of themselves.
I had no problem breathing during or after. I'm pretty sure they could here me breathing on the other side of the gym.
