First I thought I was just on the rag, but upon further inspection of my genitalia, and a quick wiki search, I found it impossible.

Anyways, last night I'm playing in my ball hockey league, when all of a sudden, my forearms had the worst cramps I have ever experienced. I got to the bench as quick as I could, but for the life of me, I could not let go of my stick or glove, because my fingers curled up due to the cramp. I had to pry my left hand off with my right, trying to keep it from cramping up too. (My back was cramping too, but was not a problem like my forearms).

I trained back about 5 hours before, so I know my arms are fatigued, but I am uncertain what caused it for sure. Perhaps the fatigue? Or possibly dehydration?? If anyone has any input on how to avoid this again it would be helpful.

sounds like low electrolytes, eat some banana for potassium, and a little sodium if your diet is low in it, and drink more water

Electrolytes crossed my mind too. However, I didn't miss any meals or anything, so I dont want to say electrolytes seeing as I would have eaten the same thing in my countless other games where nothing happened. Although youre right, I did drink a couple sports drinks after.

If you over stressed your wrist one way your muscles will possibly contract the other way to counter act, its like a defense mechanism.. Sometimes nerves misfire.. kind of hard to diagnose?

Swimmers get can huge cramps in their calves because while kicking the calves are over relaxed sorta dealio and the whole back of their leg will crap up for a couple mins... i know from experience it hurts like a b*tch!

Yeah, just an awful pain. I think it may have just been fatigue. For example, whenever I train bi's, if later that day I were to flex them, they would cramp. I suppose the activity caused the same effect on my forearms and rear delts. Also, I just started creatine again last monday, perhaps I was not taking in as much water as I should have. (I sweat alot that day). I'll try and take in more, accordingly.

Yea sounds like over stress, and then when you stress it later/too much your nervous system wont let you and it cramps up.
