A dear friend who knows my situation offered me a pc of gym equipment her family had hardly used and won't when they move up north either.

A Free Weight Leverage gym by Body Solid. It has 600 lbs worth of weights and she is giving it to me for FREE. It's only 2 yrs old.
I have a concrete floor in my basement that is painted. The walls are block and one is peg board. ONe window, basement size. I have alot of older gym equipment but this new unit will be a bonus. I want an open area for free weights and the other area for the machine and a hack squat I have already.
My 16 yr old is a great dancer and wants me to put down a wood floor so she can use the open space for dancing practice..not a bright idea with dampness.
This gym is going to be my new personal training salon. Not a gym but a place for women to go for one on one training. Many of them are late 20s and just had babies and wanting to get their bodies back. Two are getting married next year. Another is the wife of a Politician and hates the gym scene. This is just the start of it and I have not let it out yet accept to friends.
My questions are...
1. Flooring..Tile it with peal and stick..Paint it? It's painted now..older burgandy colour.
2. Are Murals Tacky? Tropical I"m thinking on the peg board walls. I'll put up a backboard first then the murals on it that are made out of wall paper strips.
3. Colors? Do I go modern like lime green and orange? Or retro like pink, brown and blue?
4. What to charge?
5. If I let other trainers us the gym what do I charge them?
6..In time should I finish the ceiling?
