over the past few months while purchasing things at stores i've had a many people working at the stores while giving me my change back say 'sorry i'm short a penny"........ sometimes 2 cents. And they try to give me my change back short a penny or two............

now this pisses me off!...... who cares about a penny or two...... it's the principal.

We buy products from them and then they try to short change us.
What i've decided to do is just say 'just give me a nickel then"

One person said that they couldn't do that......so i asked them why are they willing to short change me but they wouldn't short change themselves by giving me the difference of a nickel?

One store decided to go to another til and get the 2 Cents and gave it to me.
So far only 1 store gave me a nickel all the others either go and get the proper change or............open up another roll of pennies

so in short......if a store tries to short change you ........don't accept it..... short change them....... I'LL TAKE A NICKEL THEN.

Worst is the Tim Hortons drive though. I don't know if it's some scam they are runnig to make some cash but 5/10 I am short changed at Tim's and not 25 cents. Sometimes loonies, sometimes 50 cents etc.

I think it's a way these guys make extra money. Most people don'tlook at their change at Tims.

The person at the cash is minimum wage and will pay from his own pocket. If he gives 3 cents to everyone who doesn't have the exact change he'll be short at the end of the day by a couple of dollars. Personally I don't take anything under a dime. If it helps them balance their register at the end of the day, good for them. I understand the principle that you want your cash, but if we really think about it, they're having a hard time in life if they're operating a register. Now if you were to tell me the cashier was fat, my answer would be different, I want to see obese people suffer :D

And how do you think she got so fat....by ripping of every customer for 2 or 3 cents and at the end of the day she has enough to super size that KFC meal, all the while she is probably snacking on chocolate bars she has stolen from the store. The next time some fat bitch tries to short change me I am goona falcon punch that ****.
