Well i just started a new job about a month ago and before that i had a month off from work and worked my ass off in the gym during my time, then time came to go back to work and i just felt run down so i basically when into cruise mode and did light work outs 2-3 times a week during my 3 weeks at work now im back at home a feel quite refreshed after getting back into the heavy iron and i wanted to hear some opinions on if what i did was right and should i consider taking a crusie period every few monthes?

Some times a guy just has to take some time off due to job or an injury. If you have been consistant prior to your time off you should be fine. You will gain what ever losses back & make gains again.I find when i do take some time off when i get back to it i do catch up quick & get new growth. But everybodys different.

ya i kept my diet in check and ate like i normally do as i have a physical job and i only jumped around 3-4 pounds but i did feel a bit deflated when i got home work maybe thats because of my break from creatine

oh yeah, you'd notice a difference being off creatine. i recently took a couple months off from creatine.. took those two months to get to the size i was when i was on creatine. i just started back up again and noticed the increase it gives.

ive taken many breaks from creatine, and it does cause a noticeable decrease in size.. small, but noticeable. its the water gain from it i believe.

thats what i figured just some water weight and as far as strength i didnt lose any of that so i guess the break was well deserved and did me some good

I routinely take a week or 2 off every three or four months, I find it helps re-energize the system and avoid plateaus, it's also another way to rethink your training routine and start a new one fresh.
