View Full Version : which method would cause less scar tissue?

I`m finding out that my "pinnmanship" is just not as good as I`d like it to be, especially left hand shots. So I wonder which gauge size would cause less scarr tissue for someone like myself. Using a 22gauge where the oil flows in much easier, or a smaller pin like a 25 but the needle keeps moving around because I lack the skills to do it otherwise?

Also thought of this. Would it be beneficial to start a cycle using 1 1/2 length pins, then as the cycle goes on and you get leaner, use a 1 inch pin? My reasoning was the oil is not deposited in the same area, maybe being better as it can avoid build up which I hear is a bad thing.

oh yeah, are the bumps that you get in your glute scar tissue build up, and if so can you work them out by pressing on that area with your thumb, or am I wasting my time. How long for this to usually go away?

And say I`ve been using a 1inch pin my whole cycle and have to pin my left glute tomorrow, but the area is still bumpy (not as bad as last week) and use a 1 1/2 inch pin, am I avoiding problems by doing this, because the injection is deeper causing a deposit further away from the problem area? Yes this question kind of resembles question #2...

23 gague best of both worlds

IMO wouldnt be a bad thing, you'd just have to buy 2 boxes of pins

yeah you can break up scar tissue with massage...but you'll need a professional to do it for you

just use your whole glute, ive done fully horizontal shots from the side (both L & R), reg shots on the edge of my asscrack (tricky shot working with the mirror), shots on the outer most tip of the muscle(OUTCH)... havent gone on the underside of the cheek yet

try delts, quads as well....ive given up on glutes as it feels like my ribcage is about to snap whenever i try to pin them......

Did you say delts? LOL, not after the last shot... And putting t-400 in my quad seems like a painfull recommendation. I think the only other place I`d try to shoot than glutes are pecks, but not many here have said it`s a good place to shoot, so I may hold on that. I gotta get some practice on other musle groups, may do what legalize suggested and try pinning some injectable b12 in some practice areas.

I love doing pecs, I try to keep to 1cc though as anymore and it seems to hurt. Another note is it kinds feels weird when pinning as i can litterally feel the pin tearing into my muscles.

Go delts Ritchy, and cut your 400 with another compound, that shit just hurts, plain and simple!!! EQ is good if you can add it to your mix! 1" pin is the best 23 gauge.

I've done basically every spot on the body that can be stuck with no probs at all (knock on wood) and with using a "easy flow" 23/1" pin.......also as wolverine mentioned, go with mixing with another compound to alleviate the pain as well!

Equi is mixed in with every shot, just thought I`d mention that...

I like to do pecs. Not all the time but it's good to rotate.

If you are shakey with one handed injections, try pecs and quads. Two hands can be used and the injection site is right in front of you, no uncomfortable twisting or bending. 25g is my pin size of choice.
