Ok, so i thought i had to be making this up but since like the second day i started taking Var, im on week 3, i have felt lazy and unmotivated. I have still been going to the gym and im doing more sets reps and weight. I spend 90 minutes there no problem, set a few new max's alredy but the whole time i feel just sort of blah. All day long it feels like im half asleep or something. I thought i was imagining this but i cant be. I looked into it and i found a few articles that said that this is possible because of anavars lack of androgenic content. One suggested that an androgen like proviron or halotestin be used to compensate for this. Ive looked into both and like the sounds of halo but not the liver toxicity, especially as im already using an oral. So i was thinking 50 mg ed split into 2 doeses of proviron might solve my problem. Any thoughts or similar experiences anyone? Thanks in advance guys.

what is your training regiment? if you are doing high intensity training for long periods of time that can burn you out. your body needs a break every once in a while. i usually take a week off every couple months...

k so i have been doing a ton of reading and it seems i am not the only one feeling this way.. i found several people in other forums but hardly any good articles... i found this in one forum: The lethargy your talking about is a minor dull feeling. You just get lazy. You have to stay motivated and get out of the funk. That is when you know for sure anavar is working well. Some people get it right away some don't get it at all.

In s few others it listed lethargy as a side to anavar, another suggested that the user felt this way because he was shut down, i dont think that at 50 mg ed for 3 weeks i would be completly shut down? Anywaya nothing offered a solution to this really. I still think adding proviron might help? Any suggestions from anyone with any proviron experience?

Sounds like you're pretty active bud.., gym 5x a week, construction job, mma..

I wonder if you're just not eating enough or burning yourself out? I personally haven't had this side on anavar.

Have you tried taking a 20 minute nap before you go to the gym? A lot of time I takke a 20-30 min nap, wake up, eat, wait 30 min then hit the gym. It helps on those days you just feel out of energy

Adding proviron will most likely feel worse. You'll have an increase in DHT which can lead to other nasty stuff. And why even bother? Proviron is "supposed" to make other compounds more anaboic but it's never been proven. No one I talk to would go out of there way to add proviron to a stack.

yeah i agree with cdnsoldier....adding something else is not usually the answer

I think that you simply might be overtraining.. especially now on Aas, your most likely pushing even harder then you usually do, which is wearing your body out.
I used to be a roofer when I was in university and had to learn the hard way that a physically taxing job is going to slow down your recovery significantly. Don't know if thats the case with you... but you might wanna think about it. Noting worse than training hard and not making progress because your not taking enough time to recover

It is possible that the moderate dose of Var is suppressing your natural testosterone, just enough to feel lethargic. Just a few days ago I was forced to add 50-100mg of Test per week because to my Primo, Eq, Var cycle, because I suddenly became depressed and incredibly tired, napping, etc.

I feel much better so I'm sure it was suppressed Test in my case.

You could always try a tiny bit of Test Prop or En Subcutaneously (IM is better/faster), to see if it feels better, but

same here, never had a problem with Var making me tired. i personally think other factors are involved when symptoms of tiredness are coming into play.

Yes I get the same thing. Constantly yawning at the gym and im thinking wtf is wrong with me why do I yawn so much here.. I started going earlier in the day, seemed to help a bit. What did you do to help out with the laziness?

Could be a lack of carbs or a vitamin imbalance, try a B12 injection.
