As someone who stayed with his daughters mother to long as well. It may be time to leave. I can tell you however, in my case, leaving my daughter is the hardest thing I've ever HAD to do. I slipped into a depression that nearly crushed me. I'm ok now, it's been 8 1/2 years since our seperation. My daughters mother is getting married next month. I only see my daughter every other weekend, but at least there's that. We also talk on the phone evey week. When I first left we went through mediation at the family resource centre. Although that too was extremely difficult, we had a document when we were done that listed what happens in case of...(death, moving, RESP etc.)

I know what it's like to be living with someone who makes you miserable and it tough to get through the day. I wouldn't wish on anyone how I felt leaving my daughter however. HONESTLY it nearly killed me.

like everyone else, i've been there. but it sounds to me like you've already convinced yourself that it's only a matter of time and that's it over, Try this if you want to take the passive/aggressive aproach, Sleep on the couch for a few days, or at your parents/friends, see if she has a reaction to it, or see if your ready to not have her beside you. If your content and she's ok with an empty bed then you need to think about the next step. if it sucks and you find you already miss being beside her then there might still be something worth salvaging in the relationship. If not get ready for child support and strip clubs..

Don't think you're doing your kid any favours by keeping the relationship going if there's constant tension and fighting going on. That shit affects the kids more than you know... I've grown up in that environment, and I'm sure it's affected me on more levels than I'm even aware of.

In the long run, if the relationship isn't salvageable, it's better to move on. Just remember to keep the lines of communication open and honest with your kid to make sure they know what's going on, that it's not their fault, that it's for the best, etc, etc...

From what it sounds like though, it seems as though she's annoying you, but is relatively harmless. Since you have such a history together, and a kid, there's always the chance you can talk things out with a counselor, if the both of you are open to it. A lot of the time, it's just a break down in communication that's to blame. But if not, say see ya bitch! j/k. :D

You have to ask yourself how can this get better or can it. Why did you get with her in the first place ? What role did you play? Remember we all play a role when it comes to the women in our life hating us.

I have to be the king of it. I seam to have a issue getting past week 1. We chose a lifestyle that makes us vein and self centered ask your self what would make her happy that might make you happy and most of all your child happy
