need help learning to pin

research the site specific spots. I can also give you a few tips. Prior to injecting pull up on the skin as much as you can with your free hand(this is called Z tracking and moves the skin to prevent the oil from seeping back out), when you go to inject just do it fast, not slow, doing it slowly only hurts more. When you go to puch down on the plunger do it at nice steady pace and avoid moving the needle and try to keep pulling up on the skin the whole time. Once the oil is all out of the syringe, pause for a moment and then pull the syringe right out and let go of the skin with your other hand. If there is a slight bit of seepage or blood present use a cotton swap, kleenex or wipe and apply pressure for 1 minute. Oh and always always wash your hands and sterilize the site!!

I had a buddy do my 1st shot ever (in the delt) to show me how it was done.... got light-headed, then passed out and pissed myself.... And that was sitting down to begin with.... I'm all good now though....

I use 23g myself just remeber to clean everything and touch nothing. Some people will say different but I change pins after drawing cause the seal dulls the pin. and ya sit down bro my first time I was such a pussy lol alm ost passed out ha ha ha

Shit , I still shake like a mofo when i pin and its not my first time.lol. Its just not a natural thing to do to your body - jabbing 1.5inch pin in your ass. It does get easier though.

I`m no expert here, but was alwasys told to go slow. Lately my shots have been pain free as I`m kind of getting the hang of it. But last week due to a shortage of pins, I had to inject with a 21 gauge. Usually use a 25. With the 21 the oil was just so easy to push in, I couldn`t resist pushing it in fast, under 20 seconds for sure. That caused much more pain than going slow. Plus the area turned red right after. It is highly concentrated gear however at 450mg/ml.

Why do you say going slow hurts more?

do glute shot... especially if you dont know how sensitive you are to the gear...just stand nekkid infront of a stand up mirror and jab it in... anywhere on the upper part...it will sting a bit before it gets into the muscle, as soon as it penetrates the fascia it will be like butter

Many even say 1" for glutes is fine,
5/8" for shoulders, but had a friend put 1.5" in my delt with no problem.

Im doing 1.5 in the quad and leave about .5in out. no pain at all. Glutes, I feel a bit going in and nicked a nerve one time going in....felt that one right to the corn hole.

The most pain you will feel is a slight sting once the pin breaks through the skin. After that it's all good unless you are to close to a nerve. Remember to pull back on the plunger and make sure no blood is coming up into the syringe.

Bro do 23g 1 1/4 for everything just remeber change pins after drawing from the vial. And don't be cheap on the alchol pads slide in slow take your time pull back make sure no blood then slowly push in ...... Ya i know I ;ve only done 10 pinings so far but your talking to a guy who almost punched out a doc for hurting me with a pin. hate them with a passion but bro like he said it gets easier and easier

What i did for my first couple of shots was i would use an icepack to numb the area, then sterelize the area while warming the oil in the syringe in my hand or armpit lol, then pump myself up knowing that it had to be done then just went for it. now after who knows how many jabs I actually look forward to it.

I used 23 g 1.5's last cycle, 22g 1"'s this cycle... i'm good with either so far... Definatly don't cheap on the alcohol swabs, you don't want an infection... I find delts easiest for me for some reason.... and i look forward to my injections now, even after my rough start... lol

My girl helped me with my first pin, well at least she tryed, I was freakin out so bad, shakin, yellin and sweatin like a little bitch, she left me by myself. Then I manned up, I lubed up the point by holding the syringe upright, squirting a little out slowly (little tip for yuh) and jabbed myself right in the ass, no pain whatsoever, I still sweated and shaked for the next 12 shots, and on the last one I had to use a 21g lying on my stomach, to my surprise it wasent even painful, and I could fire through 1 ml with the greatest of ease, in fact if I ever plug myself again I think I will just use 21s. I shot in my glutes only because I was scared to do it anywhere other than the ass haha.

At first I used 25's to inject and 22's to draw, then I got tired of how damn long it takes to inject with the 25's and just started using the 22's for both I found I only had soreness from the 25s because it took so long and I had to push on the plunger so hard I ended up wiggling the needle around alot once it was in thise seems to be what causes most of the discomfort for me at least. When I started using the 22's to inject I had way less soreness after my injects, but its kinda intimidating looking at the bigger guage needles until you've done a few shots at least.

I'm with Danger, I use the 22's for everything now. except when my shots are ed or eod, then I use 25's to try and minimize scar tissue possibilties.

I do enjoy these types of threads though. hearing what some of you guys have put yourselves through and what you go through just to do a shot does bring a smile to my face. I can't do my own glute shots very well anymore, it's hard to reach around and I cramp up by twisting around and staying in that position very long.

Here's my tip....take your time. Once I was in a rush and tried to get a jab done fast, so I sterilized the area well, then jabbed into my glute...unfortunately I was waaay too centered on the glute, and it hit a nerve, althought I didnt feel it until later. My tailbone became swollen, and it was a pain in the ass, literally. That wouldn't have happened if I took my time and found the proper spot, like I''ve done so many times before.

Anyway, the moral, take your time, and dont rush it, especially just starting out. Best of luck!!!
