Hey there guys, im wondering if any of you would like to share some tips and tricks in regards to recovery/nutrition/performance boosting.

Currently after i hit the gym/cycling i am consuming...

- carb/creatine drink
- protein shake
- lots of greens
- omega 3/6/9, calcium/magnesium, 'forte' multi vitamin (all of these are kirkland)
- i am trying tesosto grow HP 2 as per instructed on the bottle
- i wear skins compression tights
- the odd time i will have an ice bath after a hard ride
- before bed i take a run of these pills, protein shake w/milk along with injecting 1cc of B12 (1000iu) and .5cc of B complex (only do this E3D or so)

Any suggestions as to anything else i could be doing to recover faster? The B complex and B12 i can tell have been helping me, as my gym training now is basically CNS training the B vits are helping quite a bit with nerve recovery and giving me clean energy (and appetite!).

hey bro, sounds like you have the determination to get into the game. my first suggestion, spend some time reading the threads in this sub-forum about nutrition and sleep...there is so high quality information that is literally broken down so much that anyone can follow it...use google too...and im sure other ppl will chime in on this thread. actually, i think if you go to the very first page of the forum from like years ago, there are threads which give you a breakdown of everything you need to know.

after you've done your homework, the following concepts will make a lot more sense:

- you don't need omega 369, just omega 3, consume it with your regular meals throughout the day
- dont consume the omega 3 in your post workout shake, it will slow down the absorbtion/digestion of protein
- take your creatine before your workout, with a LITTLE bit sugar or honey or chocolate, don't take creatine after workout
- on training days: 3 caps testogrown 45 mins b4 workout, 3 caps before bed
non training days: 5-6 caps before bed
- do not take calcium alongside other compounds, it is possible that it hinders absorbtion of other oral vitamins/supplements, milk counts as calcium
-inj the vitamins 1-130hr before your excercise

Omega 3 and 6 are essential because the body can't produce them. Most people get a lot of omega 6 from their diet so it is normally suggested to only supplement with omega 3. You don't want to be taking in more omega 6 than 3. Supplementation with omega 6 is fine as long as the overall ratio between omega 3 and 6 is roughly 1:1. Omega 9 is non-essential, your body can create this fatty acid.
