Former WWE wrestler and one half of the tag team the Killer Bees, Brian
Blair, was arrested yesterday early in the morning according to the St.
Petersburg Times. Police were called in to his residence after Blair had an
altercation with his two sons who are aged 17 and 12. Blair pushed the
oldest son in the chest and then punched him in the face with a closed fist
as the teen was trying to walk away. He then put him in a choke hold which
caused breathing problems. After letting go of his oldest son, Blair
attacked the 12 year old, grabbing him by the throat and punching him,
leaving a bump on his head. Both sons identified their father as the
attacker and he was booked into the Hillsborough County jail on two felony
counts of child abuse. Blair is also a former Hillsborough County
Commissioner.

Brian Blair was released from Orient Road Jail this morning without bail
after getting arrested for hitting his two sons. Blair did not speak at the
hearing and the Florida Department of Children & Families will determine if
can see his sons. His wife of 22 years accompanied him to the hearing. He
will have to enter a plea to the charges, two felony counts of child abuse
within the next 30 days. Blair called the whole incident an "unfortunate
situation" and a "misunderstanding that could have been prevented."
