Just curious if its possible to break the plateau some experience with gains around the 6-8 week mark with different gear, Test by switching esters? Please dont bash me but it was just an idea i got, was thinking of switching from test Ent. to Prop and was wondering if there is any benefits? i know most say test is test is test but was just an idea i had.

I have heard of people switching from test e or c to test prop for the last four weeks of their cycle so that they can start PCT sooner at the end of the cycle. I know people say Test is test but I have tried all the esters and Prop is what works best for me. It cant hurt for you to try different things, just remember to do the math and keep your blood levels stable.

wont hurt...when you consider that the Test E is still in your system for 2 weeks the prop will just add to it........depending on how much you take it would effectively be like doing 2x as much if you did 100mg prop EOD

This is the point where if I use orals I use them. I know my blood levels are stable with long esthers so I throw some dbol or drol into the equation usually pre work out and train like I'm posessed.

When you say plateau what do you mean...strength? mass?

I would always recommend switching esters every 8 weeks or so. Normally however I would suggest using cypionate first than switching to enanthate. By switching to prop you will probably see a loss in bodyweight due to less water retention and that could result in lowered strength as well. You will also have to use a comparable amount...ie if you are running 500mg weekly of enanthate youd have to run approx slightly less prop to compare the two...slightly less becasue of the weight of the ester (enanthate is heavier thus less mg/ml concentration).

Can you explain why this is a good idea?

(Is it to prevent the body from getting 'accustomed' to a particular ester and as a result, lose sensitivity?)
