Branched Chain Amino Acids

I was just wondering if anybody is using or has used BCAA's if so,

What brand?
What form? (pill or powder)
When you used them? ( morning, preworkout, postworkout, before bed)
Did you think there worth the extra cost?
Did you notice any benefits using them? ( size, strength)

Any other helpful info you want to pass along.

You can buy it in bulk powder form, you can include it in your shakes if you wish especially before and after your workouts and I don't find the taste will ruin your drink. I wouldn't call it a must have supplement but the cost is very reasonable and you could experiment with it without killing your pocket book. As with any supplement of this sort it's hard to really gauge how well it is working short term besides possibly better recovery time but long run it may be quite benificial when added to your arsenal of supps. I say go for it and let us know how it works for you.

BCAA's are a staple in my workout supplement regimen. i drink them during my workout and after, i started with amino vital but switched to 1fast400, 2.2 lbs for a good price and they last for the month or 2depending on how much u use.

Xtreme Formulations ICE which comes in a flavored (3 flavors) powder I use pre-workout and during training.

i found them extremely beneficial during pct for maintaining strength and helping with recovery.

i take mine pill form. 15 mins before the workout and then right after with the shake.

If you`re going to use them, powder all the way. You`d have to take many, many caps to get an effective dose. While cutting they can aid in keeping your mass and strength. At one point I`d use them before during and after my workout then again before the second post workout meal. Sometimes when waking in the middle of the night. I varied the doses from 10, 10, 30,10 or something like that, can`t remember exactly. Would go through a kilo every 3-4 weeks. It`s worth a shot.

Also as a side note. When I used to "party" I`d pack them in water bottles with gatorade and drink them evey 4 hours or so, and althrough the next day and never lost mass. That right there says alot...
