I never knew they had forums for that, my mother suffers from extreme anxiety, the BEST thing she ever did was join a support group and go to therapy. It's helped her a tremendous amount. Congrats on giving back to the community.

Kudos to your mom for doing what she had to do in order to gain control of her problem. Most doctors just try to medicate the problem, which in my experience over the years through reading and research usually makes things worse. Like putting a band aid over a broken bone. There are many good forums out there, and it definitely helps to know that other people are feeling the way you are. It's really a hard condition for people to fully understand who have never gone through it. I guess that goes for a lot of things. Either way, I made the right choice by taking the bull by the horns, and though somedays I do have some anxiety. It's nothing like it used to be.

Exercise helps the most I would say, for me anyways. I don't have anything like a panic disorder but I feel more anxious if I havn't worked out for a few days. When I was in the military during training I would get really stressed out but it was managable because of all the physical activity.

I've come to find that athletes, and definitely bodybuilders do suffer from anxiety and panic a lot. Possibly because they are so self aware of their body. We as strength athletes are very in tune with our bodies, aches, pains, hunger, etc. I believe this is a big reason why athletes would notice anxiety a lot more than the average person. The more you're in tune with your body, the more you notice, and with anxiety and panic. That can be a slippery slope.

Brother I couldn't agree more with you! especially when my dose starts to get to high, I know exactly when to dial it down, I start thinking and worrying too much, I believe this is due to excess hormone in the system, thebrain is very complex.

Hey Geo, you are a very interesting person for sure! One of the things about you that I found very interesting is the fact that you dont do PCT drugs, I read your explanation and it made total sense. I have done PCT with and without drugs. For me the pct without drugs I felt more sane and I am positive I recovered faster (but I dont recomend this to anyone).
