Just curious what everyone thinks is the best abb excersize? And which one do you like the most? I always try and do a ton of diffrent stuff for my core, do you? or do you stick to a few basic movements? Maybe this will give everyone some new ideas for core.
doing a plank with my feet on a ball and holding it for 90 seconds. i like to do that in between sets on leg days. my abs are RIPPED by the end of the workout.

Hanging windshield wipers. Never done anything as intense for abs as this. From the many at my gym I've seen try, there's only a few who can do them. I do 3 sets of 12 rotations in my ab workout.

Missionary position.
I don't know the name of it but kneeled down, cable behind head, cruntching towards floor is my fav.

That's a cable crunch gsxr750 (nice bike too). I like them as well, it feels great when you get enough weight on there. Reverse crunchs are good for lower abs as well.
Try raking some 40 mm drainage rock with a concrete rake,MMASTAR.Very intense.Paddle it from one pile to the other. And back. Now you're talkin' core stability.

LOL... I do construction so your not that far off.. i spend a lot of time on a shovel and sledge hammer as well.. it just seems sometimes its hard to really "feel it" in your abbs. I find front squats are when i can feel my core activated the most, and deadlifts.
You do notice it during front squats at first.
