Thought I saw something about this on the board but couldn't find it....
So, just started my first cycle (100+250 test cyp/week) and was wondering how long it would take before I would feel the effects of it? I'd assume it would be a few days, right?
BTW I used a 22g 1" and had no issues going glutes...although I was all shaky and forgot to change needles after drawing LOL
I know its not a huge cycle but it should be far above what I naturally put out.

2+ weeks, unless that 100+250 is something other than just cyp?
I usually don't bother to change needles after drawing - it just makes them a bit dulller.
I've heard a number of different times for when people notice test e/c to kick in. For me I usually start noticing the scale start to move after about 3-5 days. I've heard as much as 4 weeks for some people.
6 weeks for me to feel anything with long estered test.....

Thanks, fellas. I wanted to kick it off with some d-bol but still waiting for it... and cycle was supposed to start today so...I started it. I'm interested to see the effects after 17 years of training natty.

6 weeks for me to feel anything with long estered test.....
same... almost 7 before i started really feeling stronger, seeing dramatic size increase..

Why are you splitting the 350mg in 2 parts? are you taking the whole dose in a single 350mg injection?
If it is only Test Cypionate (long ester test), it should take you about 4 weeks to start feeling the effects. Of course everyone's morphology is different and it could take you a bit more or a bit less.
As your first AAS contact I would suggest you add a small amount of another fast acting hormone to kick-start the cycle. Winstrol or DBol would have been fine. 30mg of Winstrol split into 3 doses of 10mg, 8 hours apart for the first 4 weeks would give you in a matter of a short time a small boost in both size and strength pending the Test Cypionate to kick-in.

Everyone is different in there genetic make up 3-6 Weeks ?? food diet and training also help !!

Thanks. Diet is spot on. I have been at 12% or less since last June. I am currently 6% BF (2 weeks out of contest condition I believe) and reaching personal bests in some of my lifts still! Protein is 340grams/day, the rest is oatmeal, brown rice and veggies and obviously many sups (creatine/glutamine/leucine). I eat 6 meals a day plus my supplements pre-and post training. Consistancy got me this far so I'm hoping with the slight protein increase and the test I can gain some lean mass. I would never imagine bothering with special supplements if everything else was not spot on. Why waste the opportunity, right? :)

No, its in one dose. I have test cyp 100 (DR. prescribed) and test cyp 250 (seperate source). I combined them. Love to have access to other supplements, but no luck so far...

Sorry, I guess that came off wrong. I was prescribed 100 by my doc (10 weeks worth, then I go for refill!) and I had test250 from a local "friend". My "friend" has not been able to find anything else, although he talked big. 3 months and waiting for my other supps...so I assume that's all I'll get for now. I am hoping to find other "friends", true, but I wouldn't troll that blatently...unless i was on the water in my boat... ;)
So...the laugh and the pic are warrented...my bad. :(
This is a great board, with great advice...I am a newb to all of this and will probably be smacked around a few more times before I learn proper etiquette.
Again, I appologize for "baiting the hook". I had the response coming to me after wording it like that. I'd use the low carb excuse but that doesn't work on my wife, either...
As for the advice on time-line, much appreciated. I have to say that it is only 2 days after my first pin and I seem to be more vascular and I am up a few pounds in weight, although that might be other factors. I am also taking DHEA and Gaspari Haladrol with a kitchen sink full of GNC type supps so they could be causing some of this, too.
Thanks for the advice and pls accept my appology for poor choice of words. I'd hate to ruin a good thing...but this is the only place that I know of to go for advice.

Running ~170lbs at 5' 8" - I was 162 at provincials last year...figure to be about 158 at Nationals as I am dieting longer and hope to be even leaner. Have added about 3-4lbs muscles since last year (I believe) and I am almost in the same condition as last year (without the dehydration)...getting veins showing on my abs. Of course if my juice kicks in I could be a few pounds heavier, but I'll be happy with maintaining what I have. Why do you ask?

LOL...that's my only edge...I rip up well...which is why I'm looking for more mass...I'm ripped, veiny and carry some muscle but in the off-season you wouldn't say, "That dude's a bodybuider." In the gym you would notice or by the cooler I take to work each day and have for 10 years+...but I'm ready for some mass now...tried natty for way too long.
PS I'm 3 days since first pin and have had wood the last two mornings (at 40 that's rare 4 me) and seem to have more energy...am I feeling the test???This will be interesting to see how everything changes over the next few weeks.
