how do I use a .gif for avatar.

I tried CP and edit avatar and uploaded file. It showed a still image of my GIF

Then I tried a file share site and uploaded it there, and tried the http link in the CP and it showed invalid file

find your gif, resize (http://www.smileygenerator.us/tools/animation_tools/gifresize/lite/index.php), upload (Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 171 by 171 pixels or 585.9 KB (whichever is smaller)).

Yeeeeeee. Mine didn't work by uploading I had to send it to imageshack.us and then use the direct link. Dunno.
