Slow bulk, about 0.5lb a week
Should have posted my stats before
23
5'10 and a half :p
165-170lbs I havent weighed myself this week, probably should get on that...
I work for a masonry company (I move stone/brick whatever all day)
Looks pretty solid.
You may need to add more calories if you don't gain due to how much you burn daily working, I bet you burn a ton.

Wow, that`s alot of calories for someone at your weight. If that dosen`t work you could add some chocolate milk with every meal. Or a weight gainer drink for an extra meal.

WOW, I like your diet, If you stick to that and maybe add in a gainer shake like Ritch suggested you should do well! You probably do burn alot of calories on a work day! good luck and get huge bro!

I did chief... As a starting point it looks good, he can make adjustments as he goes. Besides if he`s not used to eating that much now, eating more will cause him not only to be moving bricks, but shitting them as well. :greet

Thanks guys, the only thing I was thinking was switching grits and replace it with a simple carb for a insulin spike. Any comments? yes/no?

Sure, why not 1 cup oats.

Not sure I`d say oats are a quick carb. Maybe some high glycemic fruits like a banana for the high glycemic carbs? Or some cereal, but most high glycemic cerals are crap for you. I`d keep the grits or oatmeal.

Yea... oats are not a simple carb, it would be nice if they were though :D
Id love to put in bananas I love em, but I get really sick if I eat them lol but possibly yogurt??

Yeah, you could go with yogourt, the flavoured stuff is higher up on the glycemic index, not sure of the exact number however. If you like oats, and want to spike your insulin, maybe use the flavored packs? They do have alot of sodium however. Some chocolate milk and you`re good to go.

Yea I think theres some left over quaker instant oatmeal packets. The sodium doesnt really bother me too much (everyone worries to much about it) as long as you compensate with drinking more water. Maybe Ill do that then...
