in the u.s. they have life extension foundation (http://www.lef.org/Vitamins-Supplements/Health-Well-Being/Health-23000-1/Blood-Tests.htm) that lets you order your own blood tests and pick and choose what you want and they offer a lot of different tests, even igf and all the endocrine hormone tests you could want.

I wonder if it is because of our health care system that you can't use them in Canada? is there any way someone could ever offer something like that in Canada?

I guess you can get all the same tests in Canada if you have a doctor that tries hard enough, but that is the hard part, it is hard to find a doctor that is open to being told what tests to take, and most won't help you at all. So much less hassle for people in the u.s. just order online by credit card and you can get any test you ever wanted.
