No one really knows where we will end up......

I honestly don;t think significant changes will be made....

It's a hard balance....making money to live vs saving where you live

can we do it?

So what do you think the future has in store for Canada? Do you think we'll pull out of this recession soon or it'll get worst?

I trult really believe we are going to see it get worse in the next couple of yrs...There is still a lot of fallout from the automotive industry that hasnt settled yet, plus the off shoots from that alone are going to hamper the recovery...
Then with our rising dollar we are putting more pressure on manufacturing in general to make a profit with any shipments leaving the country southbound....Its still happening, and the unemployment rate is rising, and the interest rates are rising, heading into a perfect storm folks....
Housing seems to be on the rise out here in this area, but its mostly new homes so far....I believe it is mostly due to people that are preapproved getting in before their approvals are due, and then they get hit with higher new interest rates.....IMO, i would like to be more optimistic, but reality is a bitch...

I agree 100%, we are going to be sucking slew water for a couple yrs yet!!!
