HCG and HRT

I just got back from the doctors. I went to get her to write a script for hcg. She is my prescribing physician for my Testosterone but she would not give me hcg. She said it has no use for or in a hrt plan. Even though I could point out many reasons to use it she was not going to budge. So I asked her to get me into a endo and Ill go that route. I know I can get it online but why not let the goverment pay for it through my drug plan,lol. why are Canadian Doctors so scared about HRT and things like HCG? And can anyone give any suggestions about what to say to a endo to get hcg perscribed to me? thx guys....

ask her how important having kids is.

not saying using AAS without hcg will make you infertile, but its worth the arguement

Get them to run a semen analysis.
My endo will not do anything until I have one done.

In the mean time you could always find yourself some hCG for your dog.

true to both of those suggestions. Prob is I have had a vasectomy. So other than wanting some fullness to the nuts and for them to drop back down thats why I want the hcg. Ill see endo and go from there. I ll prob just get it online for my dog why should he suffer while I wait for appointments,lol. Thx guys.

You will find that most health plans don't cover HCG as it's considered a fertility treatment. So expect to have to fight your insurance company for coverage. Usually a note from your prescribing doc stating it's to treat hypogonadism and not fertility works. But prepare for battle.. otherwise it's around $150 CAD for 2x 10,000iu vials of HCG.

HCG is usually administered in fertility clinics. Most of the time in higher doses to get a man with a problem to produce, sometimes a one "shot" deal lol.

Gel is ridiculously expensive. One month of Androgel costs about about a year's supply of Delatestryl.

You're right but my insurance covers it....I may eventually have to switch to IM (and hopefully add HCG)

Not sure about pregnyl, I get mine RX'd to me and they are 10,000iu kits. Not possible to only reconstitute part of it, you have to do the whole thing unfortunately. At my rx'd dose I use it in 10 weeks but when Im "on" I dont use as much and end up throwing alot of it out, thank god its free!

How much do they give to prego women? Seems odd the vials come in such large doses, but I guess it isn't marketed primarily with HRT in mind.

Not a clue, but yeah the 10,000iu vials are like nothing Id seen as far as HCG goes until I picked up my first one from the pharmacy. I was used to the 1500iu version.
