Hey everyone I have been a member since.. last month but I have been frequenting bb.com and getting my life in check so here goes.
Why am i on a canadian bodybuilding site? (other then being canadian..):
well, plain and simple I used to be severely overweight im talking about tipping past 300 pounds at the start of highschool! I eventually decided to join football (with weightlifting on the side) to help me become fit. Well I made some great progress over the years and ended up at about 225 for my grad! which was last year. But it was only until recently that I became even more serious about it, about 4 weeks ago I started working with a few trainers/bodybuilders from Contestprep.ca and they have helped me drop from 203.5-198 in the first two weeks! I havent talked to them much about it but I really want to get into the sport of bodybuilding and help others do what I have done.
I hope that by posting on this forum I can gain the knowledge that I so desperately need at the same time, help others as well.
Extras..
Recently got accepted into the university of winnipeg and I will be doing a 4 year BA program for kinesiology. I also just got a new job that will be perfect during school, at a bulkbarn! how lucky is that.. bulk food at crazy prices and nutrition is a great part of the sport.
anyway sorry for such a big intro!
