View Full Version : Newbie 1st Cycle Questions

Hey all - planning on moving over to the dark side and starting my first cycle probably some time in August so still doing the research right now. I've been working out for about 5 years now. I'm planning on doing the basic 1st cycle:
test enanthate 500 mg EW x 12 weeks (split mon/thurs)
dbol 40 mg ED for wks 1-4
My questions right now - surely more to come:
1. I work out usually in the evening, around 7 pm. When would be the optimal timing for my dbol doses?
2. Is using nolva 40/40/20/20 adequate for PCT? A few places I've been reading up have mixed messages for this.
3. Given that I'm only doing 2 injections a week - how many sites would you need to rotate to? From what I've read so far is that if you just alternate between each glute you'll be fine.

Rotating between the glutes would be fine but using your quads would give you another easy option for a beginner. As for the dbol many people like taking half their dose before working out but I find splitting your dose during the day, first in am and second mid afternoon or supper will still give you the results you desire. Great first cycle bro.

Ya bro i would rotate throuh shoulders and glutes...also i would keep abit of hcg to help get the free test back up also
nice 1st cycle.....save the dbol til week 4.....i like to pin quads and delts.....

1.) 20mg dbol when you wake up, about 20mg dbol an hour before you goto the gym at 7
2.)id do 40/20/20/20/20 instead of 40/20/20/20. but whatever you go with would be fine, both work out to be same amount of nolva
3.)my first cycle was only 2 injections a week to and i just rotated quads. should be fine, but it doesnt mean you shouldnt experiment with other sites, nothing hurts by having options to choose from, because youll get sick of quads. Especially when you get into a different cycle and need more injections and dont know where the hell to do it haha
and and yah, like tex said, save the dbol till week 4, or at least the start of week 3. if you use it when the test is at higher blood levels youll have better gains and less shutdown at the start from the dbol acting alone
itll be hard though if your not patient, it being your first cycle your gonna wanna feel it right away, if you can, wait till week 3 or 4 to start the dbol, if your set on kickstarting the cycle with it though from day 1, dont sweat it, go ahead, but definatly wait if you can

he doesnt goto the gym till 7.
if he takes his Pre dose at 6. his next one wouldnt be needed until after midnight, which he likely wont be up for.
id just stay with morning and PWO. The half life is long enough to be in your system for hours after your done working out anyway

Oh , well yea i would stick it about 3-4 hours after waking and PWO..

Thanks guys for your help... so why should I wait until week 3 or 4 to start dbol? I thought the point of using dbol early was until the test e really started kicking in... If I waited until week 3 or 4 should I add adex or something?

If you wait to start the dbol then the test e will be kicking in nicely and they will have a synergistic effect working together.

I`d take the d ball right away, and keep using it for another 4 weeks when the test kicks in. I regret not kickstarting my cycle with prop or dball. I`m now starting to feel the cycle and it`s been about 6 weeks I`ve been on 500mg test and 400mg equipoise. But that`s o.k because it`s a nice 20 weeker I`m doing here. But if it were a 12 weeker and only had 6 weeks left, I`d be disapointed.

For 8 weeks, I`ve done that before. It`s probably not the best for your liver and cholesterol but it`s nothing your body won`t be able to recover from. Most old timers used to down dball like they were candy and don`t think it hurt them much.

up the dbol to 50mg ed,(still a low dose) and depending if its 5 or 10 mg you should take it at equal time spaces through out the day for best results
ive also found that 1000 every 8 days is MUCH better for bulking, but also your skin will become alot oilier
just a friendly thought :)

oh and ive seen dbol used for 6-9 months straight with no adverse side affects
but remember everyone is different!
