26 yrs old.. 185 lbs.. around 15%BF, first cycle, been lifting 4 years steady, I train MMA 5 days a week and lift 3 days a week. I do a push, pull, squat day routine and track all my lifts then change my routine when i plateau. I am looking to maintain my current body weight and drop my BF% and increase strength. I started Var at 40mg ED 5 days ago. Planning on doing 10 weeks or increasing dosage and shortening cycle. Nolva 30/20/20 for PCT. Any advice any1 has about achieving my goals and ways to go about it would be appreciated. Thank you.

How tall are you?
The var alone can add some mass and strength, but dont expect big gains. The BF will be more about nutrition. Proper diet and lifting will go a long way in doing what your looking for. Im guessing you dont want to get too big, so if you did go with test, id go low dose with the var. Maybe 300 a week or so.

im 6'2" tall..im not looking for big mass gains, i just want to replace the lost BF with an equal weight of muscle to stay at 185. Do you think i need test to accomplish this? My diet is definetly in check. I know what im doing in that department and get plenty of cardio. Also i have never injected before and am not sure how it works exactly or what type needles to use ect. Would i have to increase my PCT if i add test?

No offence but if your diet was in check you would not be at 15% bf with the level of activity you have indicated. No amount or combination of drugs will get rid of bf if your diet will just keep adding it back on.
List your diet, maybe I am wrong?

I can't give you cycle advice but what I would do is bulk up to around 220. Then cut down to compete at 185. You want to be lean and mean at whatever weight you fight at. It will work a lot better if you focus on one thing at a time.
Edit: You could do this all w/o drugs too, but they would probably speed things up.

I fight at 170 thats why i walk around at 185.. and as for my diet well its definetly in check.. i follow the paleo diet, i eat unlimited veggies throught the day not including starchs and enough lean meat to equal 40 grams of protein every 3 hours. I weigh the meat i eat. No dairy, no grains and only one or two pieces of fruit in a day usually after training. I have a cheat meal once every 2 weeks and it is usually something like a chicken quesdilla with guac and black beans from my fav little guatemalan restaurant. I am not sure of my bodyfat % i was just guessing. I am lean and you can easily see my abbs, there just not as cut as i would like them to be. So any advice?

When i started fighting i weighed 210 and had my first 2 fights at 185, i leaned out a bit to 190 and sweat the rest to make 170, but it is hard thats why i want to maintain a lighter body weight.

Have you tried a diet free from carbs and switched to and CKD or keto diet? Just a thought cause if your diet is in check and you are burning over your intake, why not change up your energy source?

If you're running the Var by itself I would go up to 60mgs a day, but really you should keep it at 40 and ad some primo....it's delicious!

K im not to sure but sounds like keto is short for ketosis so im guessing its about switching from burning carbs to using fat as your energy source. That is what my diet is as well. 65% of my calories are suspossed to be coming from fat with most being unsaturated of course and omega 6 and 3's being in a 2:1 ratio. I had a goal to get to 181 for a kick boxing fight i had last sat that had weigh ins day off and i made it. So ive started adding a few things back into my diet just to maintain like the 2 pieces of fruit and a handfull of walnuts a day. I also didnt have a cheat meal for 2 months before that fight. The blizzard i ate after that victory was more than just sweet let me tell you. lol As for primo theres quite a few more sides involved with that AAS i belive, i would rather try the test or just stick with the var, some people have said t-bol but ive heard terrible back pumps and i dont need that during training.

Proviron itself is not that amazing, also has some anti estrogen properties. I fail to see the synergies there...
