View Full Version : Losing Weight....ARM W/Out Neeeded!

I am currently losing weight as im on coming off EQ/Test cycle for 20 weeks. @ Week 16 I started Anavar 100mg/ED and will be on it until Week 24 or 26 still not sure how long yet. I am taking 50mcg of T3(Cytomel) with it along with Helios Capsules. I am planning on losing FAT but not the size.....is there any differant ARM workouts that I can try to help build them up a lil more while losing weight.....My arms are dead right @ 19inches and by me cutting ill lose some size off them....I mostly do BB curls...EZ Bar curls and thats pretty much it for my Biceps.....Should I do more arm workouts on machines? I am stumped....

I've always found hammer curls help the size of my arms... everyone responds differently, and i definately would not drop the BB curls. Not sure "how" you lift, but maybe try using a little lighter weight and focusing on negatives for a few weeks... just spit-ballin' here (heh heh heh... spit-ballin'....)

good luck since you're cutting though...

Barbell Curls 3 sets of 12...last set is with 175lbs
EZ Bar Curls 3 sets of 12...last set is with 125lbs
Concentration Cur 3 sets of 5-8 with 65lbs,55lbs last 45lbs

....I have had great success building the arms up to 19inches but they just will not grow any more. With me cutting down im trying to keep as much inches as possible.

NOOOO just lose the Fat around mid section....the bloat where I gained weight during my cycle. It seems like my arms are getting smaller than everywhere else ...i asked a good arm workout cuz mine is obviously not doiing it.... What a very mature answer, im 23, younger than many on here and i dont respond like that.

So yeah if my arms get smaller then ill look like a fag cuz everywhere will be big BUUUUUT my ARMS!

You should do some more reading.

An arm workout isn't going to make them bigger if you are trying to diet. Eventually it will even out but we all have places where fat goes first - before other areas.

And if you were actually a mature 23 year old you'd have waited til you reached your genetic potential before touching gear. You post clearly indicates you had no business touching AAS when you don't even understand the basics about simple human physics.

I thought by switching up my workout would help them. Muscle confusion? Rather than doing the same old workout. As for the fat its only in my mid-section, so i cardio cardio and more cardio and a simple change in my diet but I also could be burning muscle as well, ie Cytomel. As for genetic potential, isnt everyones body differant? I hear that all the time everyones is differant. take mine for example before I ever touched AAS I could bench 375 for 8 solid reps, bb curl 135, squat 505 for 12 good slow reps, DL 495 for 8 @ age 21. My weight at 19 was solid 215lbs with some fat. Before i started lifting i was 198lbs that was age 17. I never did bodybuilding my buddy and I just did powerlifting.....Protein protein more protien...with my fave CellMass by BSN...I did just that until I was 21....For some reason my lifts did not go up at all even working more intensly eating more, nothing did the trick. So i decided to cut down from 240lbs to 218bs @ 21, thats when i tried 500mg of Sustanon per week, my lifts did go up substantially. Did I think about juicing in High School, Yes of course....did i ...no i did not, I waited until I felt I(I as in me noone elses) was at my genetic potential.....I stayed at a plateua for 9 months before doing my first 10 week cycle. I also feel like i got very good genetics! ...thank you mom! lol

Trying to increase/maintain specific body part muscle mass while on a fat cutting regime is like putting an elevator in an outhouse., it just does not belong!
Overall size will reduce while cutting, which by the way is what you want. Once you loose the "belly" then go back to bulking and my suggestion would be manage your diet better so you don't get belly fat while you add muscle. It will take you longer but WTF you are young and have time!

Yeah I think next time I wont make my diet a WILD Game one, thats where most of my protein came from. Yeah I do have time.

:oIf you want bigger pipes, you need to gain about 10-15 lbs of mass my friend (mostly muscle ) , to get another inch....
i was well over 20" cold at the beginning of my diet @ 260 ish, now im around 19.5 cold.... thats what happens....:troll
so keep growing and really max out your genetics....then cuter up...IMO
