Has anyone used this diuretic? If so what is the dosing.

Edit....Sorry I misspelled the name in the main heading. It is Aldactazide not Aldazide.

To get rid of some bloat. I seem to be very sensitive to it, especially during heat\sun. On one trip to Cuba my feet were so swollen you could not see my ankles. My diet was not the best so I know that did contribute.

Aldactazide is NOT a good idea to use for competition. It is a combo diuretic composed of aldactone and dyazide. The problem lies in the inherent effects of aldactone which is blocking the hormone aldosterone. By doing this you inhibit the reabsorption of sodium and the muscles become flat with an inability to get any type of pump. This is not good for a competing BB at all.
Dyazide by itself is a much better choice.

I was on Novo-Hydrazide 25mg/ED for one month because of my BP.....this stuff made me lose @least 13lbs of just water.....was pissing like a racehorse. Not very fun to workout on...makes you feel like your gonna pass out.

A word of caution using diuretics while continuing to train is a recipe for disaster...muscle or tendon tears will happen.

Wow I never knew this. I'm competing in 7 days and started aldactone 25mgs a day yesterday and will be ramped up to 25mgs 2 times a day 4 days out. I also have diazide on hand to. What to do, what to do?......

This is not for competition just to drop some water bloat if and when required.

Just to drop some water is fine offseason etc, however there are still better choices.
