I received my product today and am really excited to give this a go. Just wanted to thank Weider for throwing in the protein samples and for the REALLY nice bag! As I am currently 2 weeks out from the Ontarios, I will be starting the creatine on July 6. This will give me 2 weeks after the competition to get my body back to "normal" before I begin. I usually sit about 10lbs over my comp weight and should be there (or close) by the time I start the test.
I plan on tracking my weight, my workouts and my general mood and apetite. My diet is pretty strict even during the offseason, so any gains made will be because of the creatine. I have tried creatine (MANY years ago) when I was in my mid 20's and didn't get much from it. Mind you, I didn't have my diet/training where they are now.
That being said, over the years, I have tried MANY products and have got little or no effect from most of them. I am a hard gainer. Even now, it ususally takes me to double recommended doses of supplements to get the "feel" of them. I'm really hoping that the creatine affects me in SOME way (either good or bad) just to know that it's actually working.....
Looking forward to following the other testers' journals as well:)

Okay, so it's been 2 weeks since the Provincials and I'm ready to GO! I took the last 2 weeks off training as we were away. Eating is back to normal, though I had alot of crap last week. My weight has stabilized at 110lbs.
My workouts will be as follows:
Mon-Legs
Tues-Back
Wed-Shoulders
Thurs-Bi/Tri
Fri-Chest
Sets will range from 3-4 with reps between 6-10. I don't work abs much, maybe once a week and I'll do about 20 min of light cardio (stepper or treadmill) after each workout. I plan on hitting calves 3x/week as thy have to GROW.
Diet will consist of protein powder, chicken, steak, salmon, tuna, ground beef, lots of veggies, rice, potatoes, oatmeal, cottage cheese and a bit of fruit. My Krea-Genic dose is 4 caps per day (each cap is 750mg). I am not on any other supplements right now aside from the occasional caffeine tab (if I feel tired).
My starting stats are:
Chest 35.5"
Waist 28"
Quad 21"
Right bicep (flexed) 12"
Calf 12.25"
Weight 110lbs
I'm new to this whole journaling thing, so if there are any questions or things that you want me to track, ask away:) I'll update this journal once or twice a week unless there is something crazy going on.
Pics were taken last night...

Quick update~ 3 days on and NO dry mouth, NO cramping....this is good.
I haven't noticed any strength increase or any extra energy during my 3 workouts to date, but it's only been 3 days
I am down 2lbs. I expected this as I ate crappy for 2 weeks post competition. Diet is clean again and I'm hoping that the creatine helps me hold some solid weight as I build in the next few months.

Okay, so Friday's workout was REALLY good. I've noticed extra energy/push during my last 2 workouts and throughout the day. Not necessarily feeling any "pumps", but strength was definatley there and I didn't feel the muscle fatigue I usually get by the end of the workout. Friday was chest and I benched 115lbs for sets of 8:) PR for me!Really looking forward to hitting legs on Monday.
Still no cramps or dry mouth (mind you, I normalls drink about 5-6L of water a day).

Workouts still going strong....today was shoulders. Noticed less muscle fatigue---ususally my shoulders "burn out" quickly. Needed less rest between sets. I've also noticed less soreness in the muscles 1-2 days post workout, so recovery seems to be getting faster. Weight has stabalized at 108lbs (in the am), but my rings are getting tighter---going to up the water a bit for the next few days and see if that helps.

Another week done. Did legs this am. Had lots of energy and didn't feel like I had the s**t kicked out of me when I was done(normal for leg day). Got a great pump and they felt "fuller" than usual during the workout.
BUT, had alot of stomach problems in the last few days. Something isn't right. Feel full most of the time (but still getting my meals in). I'm hoping I just got a bit of a flu bug and it'll go away....

Are you getting diarrhea like cramps? Its gonna sound odd, but add a litre of water to your intake, also add an electrolyte drink. It helps a ton. I added grape powerade to my PWO shake. I know it sounds gross but I am hooked on the taste of a grape/vanilla PWO shake.

Okay, stomach is feeling good last 2 days. Energy is good. Staying fairly lean and seeing BIG increase in strength. Today I did dips (unassisted) with 40lbs strapped to me for a set of 8!

Thanks CC:) Had a great leg workout this am. Squats were with 175lbs for sets of 10! I've gone heavier before, but definately not as strict or for as many reps. My weight is 113lbs this morning, but I ate alot of crap over the weekend. I'm going to start cutting some cals this week as I will be competing in the WBFF show here in September.

One bottle down, one to go! I'm half way through the creatine now and the one thing I've noticed is STRENGTH! I ususally train heavy, but the weights I've been able to lift are WAY more than I've done in the past. Today, I did 75lb skull crushers for a set of 6! It'll be interesting to see if the strength continues to hold as my cals are lower this coming month as I am dieting again for a show in Sept....

Another week done:) My cals dropped (a bit) this week but strength is still good. Still feel alot of energy that is constant through the workouts and getting a good Pump in the muscles I'm hitting. Took a pic this am. Sitting at 108lbs. Now 5 weeks out from WBFF Worlds

Absolutely CC. At first, I thought the strength increase was just post competition, but the weights just keep going up. Really loving this product:)

CC, diet right now is:
7am 4 egg whites, 1/3 cup oats, creatine
10am (post training) 2 scoops protein
1/3 cup oates
12pm 4oz chicken or tuna, 6 asparagus
2:20pm 1tbsp ANBP, 1 apple
5pm 4oz chicken, 12 asparagus, 3oz yam
8pm 4oz talapia, spinach
10pm 1/3 cup oates, 1 scoop protein, 1tbsp ANPB
Once a week, I have a cheat meal...pasta or burgers or pizza and some (well, alot of) dessert:)
Doesn't change much during the year, just add more carbs (oates, brown rice, etc) when I'm not dieting down.

excellent! have you ever done the keto diet? I am of course using carbs again for off season, but not sure about next years comp. I know keto works well for me but I have never dieted down with carbs either. For provincials will probly just go with what I know works :)

No experience with keto diet. Is that what you did this year? I've used a few different approaches over the past few years. Tweaked/combined a few things and going to do this show on my own to see what I've learned....lol. Any suggestions are welcome...

yes I had the option...keto or carb cycle. Nicole trains either way. I went with Keto...I find to much mind #$$ with me when it comes to carbs. I also seem to retain ALOT of water with carbs. Who knows maybe i will give it a bit of a whirl during the off season to see how my body responds.

Coming to the end of the second bottle now. Another PR today: did dips for 1x8 and 1x6 with 45lbs strapped to me. I'll post a summary with all the improvements and measurements soon.

Okay, my Krea-Genic is done:) I've got to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the overall results. My workouts continued to get stronger (even though I was dieting through the second half of the product). I felt a consistant energy and "pump" during my workouts. I never had the "dry mouth" feeling and the stomach issues I had for a few days disappeared (leading me to believe it was a stomach bug---NOT the Creatine).
My change in stats are as follows:
Chest 35.5---->36"
Waist 28----->27"
Quad 21---->20.5"
Right bicep 12---->12.25"
Calf 12.25---->12"
Weight 110lbs--->107lbs
Most impressive were all the PR's I hit in the last 8 weeks:
Bench 115lbs x 8 (up from 105lbs x8)
Dips 45lbs strapped to me for 8 (up from 25 for 6!!)
Military press 90lbs x 5 (up from 75lbs x 6)
Squats 175lbs x 10 (done heavier before, but NOT as deep...these were FULL squats)
Skull crushers 75lbs x 6 (up from 65lbs x 6)
I will post some updated pics later today. I am currently 3 weeks out from competition. Might be holding a little bit of water, should be gone in a few days....then just coasting for the last few weeks.
Just wanted to thank Weider for allowing me to sample Krea-Genic for the last 2 months. GREAT STUFF! I would love to use it again (maybe in the offseason) when my cals are up to see what kinds of weight I could thow around:)

Yup, I've always trained at home....makes it easy:)
I wasn't expecting the kinds of results I got with the creatine. Over the years, I've tried ALOT of different supplements and have never really gotten anything out of them. It's as if I've had to convince myself that I was "feeling" something. This time, I had the opposite experience. At first I thought the initial energy and strength gains were due to post comp. carbs.....but, the gains kept coming as did the energy and pump. The last bit of the cycle, I was actually back to cutting and strength/energy was STILL improving! The number of PR's I hit in the last few months blows away anything I've done in the past. Krea-Genic=Good stuff!!!
