How much Cardio should i be incorporating into my bulking cycle?? My diet is seafood, i see food i eat it.

for those who bulk year round

Cardio is the medical term used to reference the heart. From Greek kardia: heart. The Greek spelling using k is the reason for the usage of K in EKG (electrocardiogram).

Also used in reference to exercises and/or equipment intended for cardiovascular fitness and endurance training (aerobic exercise). A common usage of the term is "to do cardio", which means to engage in running or other endurance training for a set period of time.


i dont know about you guys but when i'm bulking i say **** cardio

i feel cardio is beneficial for heart and lungs as well as it can keep bp in check. i dont think it hinders your progress as long as you eat enough protein. id do 30 min 3 times a week any way .

light cardio 20 mins , 3x a wk will help increase muscle

i do cardio 3xs a week when im off...not while on

thanks fella, ill keep it to a minimum and then start back into after im done... just curious if anyone can answer this as well; how long into cardiovascular activity until you start to burn muscle/damage gains?

If you are worried about cardiovascular health then make sure you are not eating trans fats, and are incorporating heavy doses of fish oils.

I would do cardio 2-3 times per week. It really depends on what your bf% is and how much fat your gaining throughout your bulking phase. I'm bulking at the moment and haven't done any cardio yet because my bf has been pretty low so far. Once i notice a bit more fat and bloat i'll do 25min of cardio 2 times a week.
