Greetings,
I'm currently looking to sell my Hampton Fitness pro style fixed commercial dumbbells. It's a 22 pair set from 15 lbs to 120 lbs in 5 pound increments. I paid $2900 for it and could let it go for $1695. I'm in Montreal, let me know if you're interested or know anyone who would be.
Thanks, Julien.

just sell them on kijiji. You should be able to get approx .75$ per pound if you're willing to sell them 1 by 1...I just sold all my dumbells ranging from 10 to 70 in 5 pound increments for about 75 cents a pound and it only took a week or so and sold it to about 3 separate people.

VERY good advise!! Specially on the 75 cents per pound...that is about right, from what i have seen. Some go as low as 50 cents on the pound.
Let me ask you this: How does the shipping price come into play?

Yeah, they can go pretty cheap sometimes....50 cents from time to time, but they usually get nabbed up quickly. Personally all the ones I bought were from kijiji as large sets with other stuff that I didn't use but figured reselling that would make it a great buy.
In the end I sold the home gym though, and ended up profiting on most sales. But yeah, I think you'd be better off not selling as a set and rather 2-3 smaller sets. Might have a harder time selling the 100s to 120s at 75 cents a pound unless you find the right buyer.
