Get a Sharp's needle disposal container. They're on eBay but you may get them for free if you live in a big city from those needle handout centres for junkies.

Put them in empty 5lb protein containers...once full, tape it shut and throw it out.

I put mine into an empty Muscle Juice container and trade them in at the local health clinic.

I tend to use pop cans but I do worry a bit about sharps disposal.

I'm not sure if you're joking... but definitely not a good way to dispose of them. The caps come off easily.. i don't think the garbage man wants to get jabbed picking up your bag of garbabe.

london drugs will give you a free container for it and when its full bring it in and they will give you a new one. Or you could just scatter them on the beach or in a playground.

Not cool at all!! What if a little kid comes around, finds the container, plays with the tape then finds this big tub full of needles??

hit your local pharmacy, most will give you a free sharps container. If it's not free they charge 2 or 3$ for your first one. When it's full, you bring it back and they give you a new one. If you're really stuck, a lot of gas stations are now putting sharps containers in their bathrooms for diabetic purposes, but it'll work.

Yeah one of the local Casions has a disposal in the bathroom, feel a little sketchy doing it but at least its not "scatter[ing] them on the beach or in a playground" lol.

If a child wants to poke into my garbage or is hanging out at the garbage dump, he or she has bigger problems.

I do the same thing with the container, just make sure its tight and shut, toss it out.

A lot of you thoughtless guys are throwing needles into landfills where they may someday do damage to someone. I used to do that too, but it's easy to be responsible and make sure your used needles/syringes are destroyed. Think how good you'll feel about being ecologically responsible!

That's right, I forgot 5yr olds know better than to play wherever that want!

I think they have needle disposals in the washrooms.

Btw, a friend of a friend tells me that that right after checking into your hotel room, bringing a used needle that you 'found' in your room to the front desk can land you a lot of free upgrades ;)

Extra upgrades provided if there are other guests waiting to check-in when you show the needle to the clerk.
