First Shot

Well got my first shot today and I don't even have my gear yet. What into the doc for my test results and my test is less then 1/2 what it should be. He sent me over to Shoppers and I picked up some test-e 200/ml and gave me a shot right there. I should be getting my test-e this week 300/ml and will start the two shots a week. As my prescription is to last me 5 months..LOL He used a 22g 1.5 in pin and I didn't feel a thing. My girl friend is just chomping a the bit to help out so at least I have some help.

I think my low test explains my slow gains.

One question, I have read about the lay down after and hot showers, heating pads. Had the shot an hour ago and feel fine it that because it didn't come from an UGL?

and how old are you if you dont mind me asking? does he expect your test to be up after the 5 months of HRT?

Im 45, and it sounds like an ongoing thing but but only prescribe 5ml at a time. It says right on the prescription "must be injected only at the doctors office" what good would 200mg a month do?

That is a very low HRT dose.

terrible...my uncle is your age and he gets 200mg/week....he started 100mg/week....when you get your bloodwork done tell him you are very active and lift weight and still have healthy sex life with your wife so you want to be in the high normal range

Thats is a good point, like most doc's he isn't going to increase the dose without a blood test, how long should I be off my own batch to make sure the test is accurate?

You should get your HRT settled before supplementing. If you don't you will face coming off completely for a month to get your levels down. That really sucks. The first 2 weeks are OK. The second 2 weeks are hell. You should be get 100mg\week for HRT.

It is only once / month and they may keep me on for years. They will retest at the end of 5 months, my cycle will be done by then but I will still get a get a couple shots after.
