My wife and I went out today. We are hooked. Great way to spend time together and explore the wilderness.

I used to do this with my rottie as my partner.. it was awesome and the best part is when your on vacation you can find them there.. it is a great pass time.. to busy for it now but loved it when i did.

Geocaching is big in my area. I have not tried it yet but lots I know love it. Geocaching is kinda like treasure hunting with a gps.

What is geocaching?



Geocaching is an outdoor treasure-hunting game in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers (called "geocaches" or "caches") anywhere in the world. A typical cache is a small waterproof container (usually a tupperware or ammo box) containing a logbook and "treasure," usually toys or trinkets of little value.

Geocaches are currently placed in over 100 countries around the world and on all seven continents, including Antarctica.[1]
