It's a good idea only if your natural testosterone levels are low. Once on, you're on for life, you know.

I had no problem getting it... told my doc I was feeling sluggish and suspected it was from low test levels as a result of my AAS use... prescription was given on the spot...

OK. I finally had my apointment. The doc looked at my test levels and said they were way too low for a 34yr old. My MD said they were high! WTF!!

Both guys who run the clinic are on HRT and LOVE it. They know their stuff and understand how you feel.
Best medical experience to date!!! Get your MD to refer you and you can save $50.
This is the only place in Canada that will do this.

I'm about the make an appointment with them, I'm using another doc to do some tests while I wait for the MMClinic.

If there's anything I should know/would find useful about the place, please post or PM me. Thanx

I just want to give a word of warning. Doctors are not above scrutiny and peer pressure. If the traditional medical community believe this is going against the norm they will be put under a spotlight. There is also an issue with making statements that going to a clinic is a lock for HRT. This will be monitored and followed up by LE.

From personal experience I know of a doctor that was chased out of Toronto and had to reopen his clinic elsewhere, the US I believe. He was a fully accredited doctor but used some non-traditional treatments such as naturopathy. He was the doctor that aided my sister in being able to control her hypoglycemia and epileptic fits through nutrition. No other doctor even got to the point of being able to identify it as hypoglycemia. She saw several. At one point they were going to put her on heavy psycho drugs because "it was all in her head". He simply used a different testing method.

I could go on. But, I hope you have gotten the point. Also be assured that if the drug companies start seeing HRT cutting into their Viagra and Cialis sales they will pressure governments to control HRT clinics.

Ref range for normal testosterone in adult males is about 9-32 nmol/L. So no, he didn't make that up:greet

i definitely feel i should try this route too. This is what sucks, people who actually need medicine and doctors who are afraid to help their patients out. what a retarded society that anyway can buy a pack of smokes which has been proven to cause cancer, but you can't get low dose test from a doctor!

Im on HRT from the doc right now, Im on 300mgs/week of cyp, im running susp right now and saving the cyp for a rainy day :D

Rex

Not on HRT...yet. Here's my sit:

My doc prescribed me 100/mg test cyp/week while in contest mode for libido (I told him that's what I've always done). I was counting on some sources for a top up to 500mgs/week for my first cycle.

OK, so my "sources" didn't come through and I wanted to run a bit more test, so I went to a walk-in clinic in another town (and province) and asked for test cyp because of low libido during contest prep and got another prescrip. Cost me $40 and I've tripled my dose. Ask and you shall receive! They told me to get a test patch or come in for injections, but I said I've always injected myself with test cyp and they were cool with that. The pharmacist didn't know what to give me and I had to help him out! LOL! I should have asked for more!!!

I do believe I will be waiting 2 weeks after my last injection and then going in for some blood work and asking to be put on permanently. Zits are coming and more vascular...3 weeks in. We'll see how I feel as I am ketogenic and 7 weeks out right now running 300mgs/week.

PS I inquired at that anti-aging clinic in vancouver and they said they won't see me until I am 40 because it is a "touchy" subject. I replied that my doc is giving it to me right now so I would be fine letting my health care plan pay for it! We'll see what they say.
