This is a long shot but I wonder if any of you are Kelly alumni? It was a very hardcore gym on Dufferin circa 1990's.(Toronto)

Anyone remember the place?

Hilarious! I used to live around the corner from the gym I didn't go there for very long, but I had a membership there for a little while. Too funny! ; )

LOL. That place was WILD!!! It was an "anything" goes gym. I stopped going once things got "too heavy". ie. HA selling "other" stuff in there.

Kelly ended up comitting suicide in 98 I think. All the lunatics then moved to that 5 buck a day gym on Dufferin/St.Clair- Those were some fun days.

Yes it was certainly an anything goes kinda gym. I was quite amazed at the time with just how "loose" things were in that gym. I think Kelly's (?) wife was even bigger than him! HAA HAAA!! I've wondered about that place a few times. I lived near the corner of Dufferin and Rogers Road back then.

Yeah it's the only gym I worked out in where the hand chalk was not always hand chalk.

HAA HAAA!!! Good to meet you here. I guess it would be safe to say that you're in the Canadian Military? ; ) I'm not in the service but I live in Oromocto, New Brunswick, the town hooked to Camp Gagetown. Just wanted to say thanks for doing your job!

Cheers man.

Awesome. My neighbor is over in his third tour of Iraq and is hoping that when he gets back that he'll be posted at the school. I hope so too.

Any way. I hope your well and enjoying life! ; )
