Sorry nerds was the only name I had for the computer brainer!

I am looking for a good VIRUS Protector/ scanner?
Also what program would you say is the best for a system software, (xp/vista) and so on.

I have a laptop and is has 1gb ram and it not to fast, but my net is 100 Mbp, and when I have to things going my computer is really slow, so I came to the point that is was to do with my computer getting virus....

Anyways, I am going to format once I find the best programs, so I CAN install these right away!

For your hardware, use XP. Vista will run too slow.

For antivirus, AVG, NOD32 should do the trick.

Any computer related stuff should be in the computer section.

I would not use AVG myself. I've used Avast FREE for 3 years now and never had a problem. Updates daily.
