okay i'm not sure how many of you have kept up with Kevin Levrone.. i have a bit.. he just recently started this:

http://levronereport.com/

i'll start by saying i think it is ****in awesome.. followed by:

- he says he doesnt have plans to compete again.. i think that sucks
- he says he is doing it naturally.. (really why the hell would he do that? my guess is so that he doesnt tell everyone he is on so that if he gets huge again that there is a greater chance he will be accepted into ifbb again)
- he plans on gaining 5lbs of muscle every week and only eating 3000 calories a day

overall i really like levrone.. but that doesnt add up lol still love he is doin the site though

he is a character and I predict him to fail... Watch his videos, struggling with 315 on bench once...

Just watched his third workout... He wouldnt turn heads at all anymore lol.... Really sad... I think he talks like a douche though

He said hes gonna get up to 245, in contest shape... Thats such a joke, I am pretty sure the highest he ever competed at in his prime was 252lb... So hell be 7lb lighter... No anabolics... If he can Id like to know why he slacked so much before and never got a title..

haha well he won some comps just not olympia...

i mean i can understand he isnt gonna wanna be like hey guys i'm doin test, deca, anadrol, GH, and slin for the next 20 weeks blah blah blah.. cuz then he could get treated like lee priest and even if he does get big enough they still wont let him in.. so by doin this the ifbb will look like he is doin good for the sport and want him to compete again as well..

and he isnt saying he wants to compete because he simply doesnt want to say he wants to compete again and then end up failing...

i dunno just my guess

Are you serious? This has been posted once already, why post it again?
if you actually read his blog you would have known that they filmed one rep, after, he went on to bench 315 for 4, not bad for a 4 year layoff, apparently for you guys thats nothing cuz u bench 315 in your sleep.

This thread is officially to "hardcore" for me.

IMO it's all about money..more people watch, the more people visit his website..the more people to his website, more of his stuff will be bought..how's he making a living now? I know his acting isn't going to make him rich, his music isn't going to make him rich...

yes i read his whole blog last night minus all the comments.. heard him say he put up 315 for 4.. but i saw him do what i would consider not even 1 rep of 315.. either way his current strength isnt what i brought up to discuss.. your input for this thread will greatly be missed

lol your coming off as a huge tool... If your in the 200lbs and cant do 315, you gotta lay off the juice and rethink your diet and training...

315x4 is not good at all for a former ifbb pro, and someone who was known for strength....

I dont know if you remember, levrone use to incline bench 405lb for sets of 10+, he use to curl 100lb dumbbells...

315 for 4 is nothing...

Post the vid and lets see, in a month I would bet Kevrone will put you to shame.
After a 4 year lay off, and eating like shit the whole time, live it up while you can man. This is your time to shine. **** why stop there, 315 is nothing for you why arent you competeing in the arnold this year? Its funny this guy can take 4 years off and I would bet in a year still be competitive, can you say that? :flowers

no matter how strong a guy once was 315lb is a reasonable amount of weight to lift after a long training hiatus. if i miss 2 weeks from the gym shit feels HEAVY. i have a friend who used to bench 5 plates and after a year off couldnt get 3 plates on his first try back.

also keep in mind, if levrone is trying to stage an impressive progress log, blasting 500lb on his first try isnt going to leave him much room for "amazing progress" over the month or whatever hes doing this for. Could all be BS.

i love levrone, but agree he talks like a bit of a leotard

Its still interesting to watch, most pros are pretty careful about only being seen in good shape and in posed pictures, its nice to see something a little more real.

Who cares how much the guy lifts in his first vid anyway lol, its not like just anybody can walk into a gym and bench 315.

I have some doubts about a few things.1500 calories and still has 18 inch arms? How do you keep 205 lbs on that kind of calorie intake?People in POW camps in WWII got more than that, they got really skinny.

post up your vid's of you benching 315 superstar.

As far as tools you I'd say you take the cake. Your what? early 20's? Been on the sauce for how long? And think you know a lot about the AAS game but routinely get your ass handed to you in discussions on the topic. Praetorian often makes you look like the stooge you are.

Maybe you should stick to Anabolic Authority since you are so hardcore...

If I was Levrone, I wouldn't want to chance it so there would be at minimum a reasonable HRT dosage. Although I have no clue. The guys natural test levels probably arn't great, he isn't super-human. It would make sense that he is taking doctor prescribed testosterone, maybe GH but only he knows what he's taking.

its actually pretty good if the time off is what he said it was. Just think he went from doing the 4 plates for sets of 10+ which being juiced to the max, and now after 3 years of not being in the gym he can still get 3 plates for 1 or 4 or whatever. This i assuming he has been away for 3 years, AND he is not taking anything.

I am taking this from my own experience. I went from doing 3 plates for 5, and then taking approx 6 months off the gym completely to starting back barely able to do 205 for 8. Thats after SIX months...And that isn't going from juice to no juice either.

The guy eats like a bird, drinks all the time, and hasn't lifted weights in 4 years. To be able to bench 315, even for 1, is impressive after such a huge layoff.

I'm sure you dwarf Kevin and have 20 inch arms, cut like diamonds. :ji

I have no doubt he'll balloon back up into the 240's, but there's no way he's doing it natural.

Sure he would, I never said I was something great, I am just saying, look at the blog people saying "he still has it" for 315x4,

Also just because I can push 315 a bunch of times doesnt mean I have the physique to compete...

I have no motivation to compete at all.. Very little money in it... I love strength training at a decent bodyfat.... Dont care about competing.. Chances are I couldnt do it...

He probally just said some bullshit number he didnt really think about it... He is probally at an average of 3500 and just didnt think about what he was saying....

There are a few things, he doesnt seem like the brighest bulb...

OKay and Praetorian often makes me look like a stooge, can you show me where I get my ass handed too me...?

Even 5 posts, Id love to see it... Shouldnt be hard becasue it routinely happens...

He is on HRT, and I dont know how he suddenly has taken four years off he was suppose to be battling flex last year to see who could get back up naturally..

He was one of the greatest imo, just I dont really feel what he is doing right now

I dont really understand the last part, knock them all down...

Anyways maybe I just expected too much from him... He is one of my favourite physiques of all time, when him in Flex were around that IMO was the beginning of a second golden age... Too bad both of them stopped...

Anyways, I am not gonna try to continue arguements, my bad bro, I just got some ***** Viagra wanna pop a couple and sword fight? :greet

Cog, 1500 calories in lean meat would equate to roughly 2lbs, this is quite a large amount, especially to be feeding pow's. are you sure that is correct?
