Hey guys, Don't know if you guys have any exercises you use for either strengthening your wrists (insert flame here) and/or inflamed feeling elbows after a hard Bi's workout

When I get that, I think its my body telling me to go lighter, Im 40 so this is commomn for me lately, I have been doing 2 weeks light 1 week heavy with great results.
But then again Pain is just weakness leaving the body.

Some good recommendations here. Have you tried glucosamine and upping your fatty acid intake?

yea I'm 23 and get sore wrist when I use straight bar on cable for bicep, same if its straight bar for tricep. I have to use the curved ones then I'm usually fine. and EZ curl for barbell. For bench i just lower weight if its putting alot of stress on

I am getting on in age so i think I will stop by the store and pick up some glucosamine on the way home from the gym.

I try and use proper form and take longer to do the reps. I had the same problem I was always sore are flat bench. Then I reduced weight down to 250x10 but very slow reps and then some negatives. Its better then pumping out more reps a 315 and being sore for a week.

Its your body telling you to ease up on whatever hurts. Go a little lighter, add a rep or 2. Also, be sure your nutrition is in check in order to keep those joints nourished. If your doing something like cutting estrogen, that can have an effect.
