I hurt my shoulder about 2 months ago doing DBell Seated Shoulder press. The tendon running from the top of shoulder down center of my delt into bicep. I saw a doc she gave me a handful of morphine and said she will look again in a few weeks. This hurts when I sleep, workout, stand , pretty much anytime ,lol. But I can workout just hurts alot. But long story longer I have access to Cortisone though a friend and am wondering if you all think a good shot of that into delt might help repair this.? And if not what do you suggest I can do for the injury? Thx, Christian. P.s. Im week 4 of a Test/Deca cycle.

Wow bro, shitty. I have had several shoulder injures including the exact one your talking about. Did that about 4 years ago. Went the cortisone route and regretted it. All cortisone will do is mask the pain, you will continue to push your limits and find yourself in a worse spot later because you will think your shoulder is better but its not. I needed a year to recover from doing further damage. Get into Physio ASAP and if the problem persists, you have no option but to come off cycle. Or just do legs 3 x a week and get those wheels going. Be careful man, shoulders take time to heal and best of luck

wow shitty deal. A year!!! Ok physio it is. Im still able to lift for now. It only seems to be getting better over the long haul. As for the cortisone I hear ya. I would push heavy if there was no pain. I didnt think about that. What exactly is this injury called. A tendon strain? Tear? Doc says injury whats that mean, lol
bro take time off to heal...eat your ass off to maintain weight... come back in 2 weeks, start with low weight high reps, work back slowly.... there was a good thread on shoulder injury started by user Namelessone, lots of ppl contributed with excercises which are meant to strenghten the shoulder joint as a whole....
gl....and remember, if youre in this for the long run, take care of your injuries

try prolotherapy first, but be prepared to take 4-7 days off the gym as it can be painful.

hGH will speed recovery and, in the long run, make it last.

sounds like the bicep tendon? i had tendonitis there a long time ago and like they said just take time off.. i would think the deca would help quite a bit.. lots of omega 3, glucosamine, chondrotin, msm, shark cartilage, vitamin c...multi..

what is this prolotheropy your talking about? I would hate to have to come off cycle for this as the deca does seem to be helping it. But Ill take the advice you all seem to offer in one way or another and take some time off from shoulder work. I can work chest (Selective exercises) Ab's, back and lower body without much discomfort to my shoulder. But arm and shoulder work is out for a week or so. thx guys for all the help.
