PAL DVD's

I download a lot of dvd's in PAL format. I can watch them on my computer but not my TV.

Is this because my DVD player doesn't allow it or is it because of my TV?

If it's the DVD player, do they sell any that will play both PAL and NTSC?

Not all DVD players are PAL compatible. Check the specs online or send me the model # and I will check it for you. The best players you can buy are found here http://www.oppodigital.com/. I have one and it can play literally anything.

most tv's made after 2000 are both PAL and NTSC. your DVD player most likely is region locked and will stay that way.

Ok. Time for me to chime in.

1. www.vcdhelp.com - Check there and see if your DVD player has a region hack code that will allow you to play both.

2. Why are you downloading PAL DVD's? Get with the times my friend. Everything now is either Divx or MKV. Torrents are up there along with Sex, Beer and Whores!!!
