Should come as no surprise that many of us have extraordinary diet requirements in order to achieve our lofty goals of being huge and ripped. Especially if your on cycle and your eating 5000 plus cals a day. Im not so sure all of our guts are so equipped to handle such tall orders of efficient nutrient processing without some difficulty. I know many of us have had problems eating and properly digesting that much food. Some people dont have trouble at all, hats off to ya. But many ppl do have digestive issues when placing huge demmands on our GI tract. Ive been reading up on a few things regarding this. Since some people may lack enzymes or have some sort of difficulty in this area, I would like some input from anyone who can add some intelligent info.

Im not talking about good nutritoin like eating your veggies, fruits and good meats, eggs, good carbs (glycemic indexing and all) etc. I've been reading up on other things about gut health. Gut flora. Good and bad bacteria. Probiotics. Digestive enzymes. The gut-brain connection - the ENS. Food intolerences. Allergies. Etc.

Id like to hear from people who might know a thing or two about these topics and how they might help someone have a healthy, efficiently functioning GI tract when its placed under these high demmands. As i read more about it i will add some posts here - im currently reading about probiotics and enzymes. Chime in if you know something!

"Gut flora is a living organism very sensitive to the diet, antibiotics, steroids and stress."

-from Gut Health

I would see this as a good reason to keep this in mind when we are taking AAS. Apparently it can disrupt a healthy GI tract. Lots of interesting stuff about the ENS and the brain and the vagus nerve which they use to communitate...

Wish I could help out here. Don`t really have any problems with gut health (that I know of) so I never really had to look into it. Man the last thing I need is another supplement I have to take... Freaken cost of everything I use dosen`t need to get any higher...

Well-I have huge digestive problems...I use to take digestive enzymes-now I am trying a product a family member suggested-he works at Jameison's developing vitamins, lotions etc-so who better to ask. They are Advanced Probiotic Sticks. They need absolutely no refrigeration, they are great for travel-totally portable. You don't even need water to swallow. Its a powder u can chew (reminds me of those sugar sticks/tubes u, use to get when u were a kid-consistancy and taste wise) You can get about 30 sticks for just under $20.00. (to follow-a tid-bit of info. taken from the internet on this product) As you know..."Stress and inadequate diet can disrupt normal balance of intestinal microflora, reducing protective effects in the body-thus-they help balance intestinal microflora and reduce stress, related to gastrointestinal symptoms such as indegestion and nausea, aiding in good health. They help decrease related gastrointestional symptoms such as bloating. " (anyway-my family member said in simple terms-helps make the stomach lining stronger and healthier) Anyway-I am giving them a try...I hope they work..I hope this info. was atleast a lil' help in what u r researching and needing. Good-luck. :) (Digestive Enzymes-help with digestive problems, breaks down food into smaller components for absorption. They help restore natual enzyme levels. They can help ease digestive complaints, including gas, heartburn and symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) I myself feel as if I need both!! haha

reading more about the best strains to have for the probiotics. Not all of them are created equal. Big shock in the rip-off world of supplements ;) Also looking into what enzymes are best suited for supplementation, as well as the quality of the product overall. There are LOTS of things you can waste your money on here...

Just an add on 1. Advanced Probiotic Sticks 2. Nutrisentials Digestive Enzymes a step further are 3. Lactobacillus Acidophilus Probiotic Complex and 4. Advanced 4-Strain Probiotic!! (The first one is just great for travelling with-the 4th one SEEMS stronger-but I would have to research more) These are all Jameison products.

Natren among the Health food community and Naturopaths is the one of the most recomended lines. Healthy Start is good but Healthy Trinity is the strongest blend out there.

it's expensive but simple becasue it's all all in one pill. Don't forget to drink it with distilled or reverse osmosis water. Chemicals in tap water are designed to kill bacteria......even the good stuff in the pills.
