View Full Version : So.. this may not be a great question.. but it feels like summer

So, I've started Daves Keto diet. I am a week in, and after the first few days I do find it very easy to stick to. I am just wondering; however,as the usual friday work routine has the crew having a drink (2 max we all drive) at a patio on Fridays. just wondering how bad having say 2 vodka waters or say ceasers would effect this diet? on another note, this new job site is very physically demanding right now, prob will be for another 2 months or so, and running 45 min a morning 5 days a week, doing 4 at the gym after work. just wondering if i should up any of the fat/protein? I am 6'0 200 so just following exactly the diet that is posted.

i hope you are not running 45 min a morning 5 days a week....that is totally the wrong type of cardio for this diet. low intensity man, under 120bpm.....and you should not even think about alcohol if you plan to use this diet. my .02cent

figured as much with the alcohol. as for the running, it is a slow jog. the 45 min loop i do, usually takes me 20 if i am cardio training.

Booze ****s everything up haha even if it is only 2 drinks, but just think of that as time your body wastes processing the alcohol when it can be spent being anabolic!

I dont see any harm in 2 drinks a week for a hard working man like yourself, you deserve it.
