View Full Version : by far the worst pain i have ever felt that i can remember
put a glass of water in the micro wave for 2 minutes, meaning it was boiling to the point where it was bubbling obviously, so i could heat my gear. Pulled it fresh out of the microwave, fumbled it, and spilt the entire glass down my chest, all the way from my upper ab to my lower ab
****in horrible.
Dont do this. im sitting here like 20 minutes later and it still feels like .. i dont even know what it feels like. ****

Wont the water contaminate the needle that way?

no, the cap seals it, plus the water only touches the barrel. if you want, run it under the tap with the draw needle and change after drying it

or alternately you could slap yourself really hard in the nads with a stick.
That should distract you for a bit.

I feel sorry for you DK, I bet it wasn't a pleasant experience, but I had to laugh when I looked at waderow's picture...LOL...Running hot water over your syringe is not only an easy solution but apparently it's a much safer method also, to easy.

the method in the pic is not safe either. the hot water is running down his hand and will scald it

ouch, that sucks dude... aloe vera is also good for burns..
personally, i found just holding the vial under running water to work just fine... water doesn't have to be super hot either... just hot enough to warm the oil, not burn your hand. you want it close to body temperature..
Just curious, have u guys ever NOT warmed your gear?
I never found the need, either that or im using very little compared to you guys.

I've only warmed it a few times, when the oil was slightly thicker, other than that I don't really feel the need to do so either...

The cap provides a seal (like waderow said) but if you are anal about it...just tip the syringe in the opposite way that wade shows in his art work......voila

Hormones are delicate things. I would not subject mine to microwaves.
