"My buddy's ex-girlfriend and baby's mother" just terminated one of "his pregnancies" so that they could each continue with their current five year plan ... She's terminated before but he hasn't and he is feeling really shitty ... What should I say to him? He's never thought it would be hard but looking at his beautiful daughter it's killing him thinking that she could possibly have had a healthy and happy sibling to share her life with ... but ... not now ...

Told you it was as funny as the other threads but has to be talked about as both their friends and families know nothing of the pregnancy and it's termination ...

I am pro life, unless it is a rape, unhealthy, or threatens moms life.

OOoooor was a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge mistake with a slut from the bar and she is fugly.

I could not imagine using it as birth control while in a relationship. She sounds like a real cold hearted calculated bitch

but to answer your question... what can you say to him? nothing that will make it better.
But you can say "I am here for ya bro if you want to talk or just hang out". Nothing more.

Good advice.

I agree, she sounds pretty cold hearted. What's he doing getting his ex pregnant anyway, or are they still together?

I'm pro choice, so I don't really understand that. If he really wants another kid, why doesn't he try to find a new partner to have one with. Imagine the hell he could have gone through to bring a new child into his life with his ex. Financial, relational and even legal troubles. Maybe instead on focusing of the negative part of his current situation, he could think about the situation he possibly just avoided.

I'm all for abortion.

From what you say it seem that it was a decision they both made. He will get over it just make him see the positive sides of the decision.

On a personal note. My GF got an abortion last year and that was the best decision we both made. We both wanted to focus on our career for the next few years.

I have never understood why the mistakes of the parents need to be paid for by the life of the child. But as Wade said just let him know that you are there for him.

I have never understood why the mistakes of the parents need to be paid for by the life of the child.

This is exactly why abortion exists.
